  1. ATI AC 97 Sounds (SB400) effort

thnx for keeping us guys updated :- )) sound is not the most important thing in the world, but it would be really nice to see it working one day (its the last non working thing on my laptop (5024wlmi) beside wifi, but that shouldnt be hard to fix ->because i know what the problem is..)
  2. omni driver for ATI with QE/CI/GL

'Later I followed the steps that had been placed in topic and was thus: Display:' i havent seen any steps / driver to install from omni in this topic? (did i miss something?) 'Forgives the english, I used a web-translator.' you should learn english instead.
  3. ATI ATA Chipset Imporved

fireshark:Here is the xbench result after using driver (Toshiba 2.5" 5400RPM hard disk w/ 16MB Cache) (using what controller????) hackingtosh: 'I get speeds like that too and I have a 7200rpm drive (laptop, not nonetheless...)' using sb200 Results 31.03 On my sb400 controller with a 7200rpm hitachi i have about the same score (32.60) as the quoted guys above.., how can this be, is there a way to check the current dma mode etc? > like hdparam under *nix?
  4. 4376 1002, so what you have to do is remove the AppleGeneric... kext and delete both extensions kext /mkext then: kextcache -k /System/Library/Extensions reboot and si voila
  5. Wolfmight, i can confirm that it does not detect ATI IXP sb400 so i will install zappa's patch? :/
  6. AMD_Enabler in 10.4.6

same here: Cannot read reference bytes from patch description file cpuid_patches.txt (i informed JaS on irc)
  7. ATI IXP ATA Driver repost

I HAVE exactly the same problem on 10.4.5 with the marklar-tiger.iso is this kext universal, or made for 10.4.3? > 10.4.4? ?? if i would like to compile it myself -> where can i get the source from (darwin??) please provide some more info -> i got stuck now with a vmware install on a physical partition which is not able to boot natively EDIT: to edit and compile the source yourself -> you can find it here .. zappa made a more complete driver i think -> http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=13413 would be cool if you could share the source zappa!
  8. YOu are using 10.4.5 dont you? i cant get the AppleOnboardPCATA to work on 10.4.5, it says that its superclass is not valid.. i think that the kext is build for 10.3, or 10.4? > any idea why it says that the superclass is not valid? i removed mkext/kextcache few hunder times now , i would almost get hilarious of it (a native boot, would make my day )
