  1. Hmm, am I asking for an impossible configuration?
  2. Hi Andy, I have been using unlocker under ESXi 6.5 for a few months now and did not experience any problems. Of course YMMV. Guests are all versions of MacOS from Snow Leopard to High Sierra and also some versions of OpenBSD. AFAIK, unlocker does more than just make MacOS available in the list. Among others it fakes the existence of real Mac hardware, just like FakeSMC.kext does. The HTML interface fling *IS* flaky, it has to reload quite often, but for me it did not do any real harm to my installed guests. That's my $0,02. HTH -Heinrich
  3. My guess would be that there is something wrong with your .iso file. There are no official .iso images distributed by Apple, so how did you create it? If you have a working Mac, download the macOS Sierra Installer from Appstore and use /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia to create a bootable USB stick. Add the stick to your VM, Boot into EFI setup and then select the USB stick. Also, you should try to do a verbose boot (CMD V immediately after boot) to see any errors. HTH

Me too . I have 04:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Intel Corporation 82541PI Gigabit Ethernet Controller [8086:107c] (rev 05) running fine under Mavericks 10.9.2. But upon wake from sleep, the system powers up, but the screen stays black (does not get sync).
