1. Hi, Installation seemed to go fine. After rebooting no USB ports work. If I plug in a mouse the LED lights up momentary and then turns off. Any ideas of what kext or boot options could be used to fix this? I tried USBBusFix=Yes without success. Below is some information about the system. CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9500 USB Controller: 82801JD/DO (ICH10 Family) USB UHCI OS: 10.9 Mavericks The linux driver that's loaded for it is uhci_hcd if that helps at all. during boot with -v I noticed this message USBF unable to get filterinterrupteventsource Thanks
2. Has anyone been able to upgrade their EeePC 1000H or 1000HA from 10.6.3 to 10.6.7 or 10.6.8? when I follow these instructions I lose USB, video, and Wifi. Not being able to plug in a USB storage device, or connect to the internet makes it impossible to load any files onto the computer after the upgrade, so it's hard to find a fix without knowing what's wrong. The options I used to install iATKOS were from here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/235987-asus-1000h-iatkos-s3-v2-kiwee-kexts-almost-100/ and everything works for 10.6.3
3. Hi, I'm trying to install 10.8.2 using tony's thing. When I boot with the USB key tony's thing created I get to the installation screen but ~2/3 of it is still covered by the Apple logo. I have tried GraphicsEnabler=No, and -x -v, but they produce the same results. (-x -v, shows the last few lines ouf output instead of the apple logo, but it also takes up 2/3 of the screen) Same results for the DVI or VGA outputs of the card. I have tried a 6600 with the same results. Is this card too old for 10.8? Any ideas as to what to try next? Thanks Specs: MB: Asus P5B-E RAM: 4GB DDR2 CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad 6600 GPU: nvidia 6800 just tried an nvidia 8800GT. screen turns off after spinny thing. tried no boot options, GraphicsEnabler=No, and -x -v the 8800 gets to the install screen if I use PCIRootUID=0 as a boot parameter.

Asus P5LD2 Pentium 4 3 GHz 2 GB RAM nvidia 8600 GTS Realtek ALC882 Intel ICH7R SATA Marvell 88E8053 Using retail 10.6 DVD with ##### Legacy 2.7.2. OSX installed fine with no boot parameters necessary. All Hardware (ethernet, sound, graphics) is working after using ##### 3.10.1 with the ##### option. Nothing else selected. This is where my problems start. After installing ##### and trying to start from the hard drive I get a grey/gray apple logo with no spinning wheel. If I boot with -v and any other boot parameters I get a black screen. The monitor does not go to sleep though. No indication of kernel panic. I have tried GraphicsEnabeler=No, PCIRootUID=0 (don't even know what this does), -x. I can still boot the system using the ##### legacy disk no problem, with no boot parameters. I get full resolution CI, QE, network/internet, sound, and in general everything seems to be working perfectly. I just cannot boot from disk! I have tried ##### 3.3 and 3.10.1 with identical results. ##### 2.0.5 has a legacy cpu option which makes the system bootable from HD, but breaks ethernet and sound. Is there a way to get a legacy cpu to boot with ##### 3.10.1? That would be ideal. Other options include getting sound/ethernet to work with ##### 2.0.5, or using a custom distro. Thanks
5. I tried following these steps, but QE and CI and Ethernet do not work. Should Ethernet even work with this guide? Installing Lion using ##### without any special modifications seems to have the same results as following this guide. I might be missing something. Is there a way to check if the kexts were installed correctly, or to reinstall them after installing Lion?
6. Modified boot-132 Bootloader

Does this work for 10.6? When I tried I just stuck at Loading Darwin/x86 Loading kernel mach_kernel Loading HFS+ file:[mach_kernel] from 422f700 Loading HFS+ file:[mach_kernel] from 422f700
7. WiFi cards that work with MAC OS X

Hi, I've got this card but I have no idea how to get it to work, or what this line even means: D-link 802.11b DWL-650 PCMCIA Prism2/2.5/3 9, 10.2-10.4 Ioxperts (10.2 and up), Macsense Rev A1 thru J3 are Prism The lights blink on it if I put it in, and a cardbus icon appears in the top right corner, but I don't get anything in Airport. PC Cards shows an unidentified Ethernet controller when I plug it in, and says atheros. Is there some guide for getting this to work on 10.5 (10.5.5 ideneb 1.3) Thanks Rick
8. installer? I must be blind because I can't see it. could you post a link. Thanks installer? I must be blind because I can't see it. could you post a link. Thanks
9. how would I get sound to work for a Dell Insiron 1520 on iatkos v4i. I deleted AppleAzilla.kext, and copied the patched AppleHDA.kext from this thread, and then repaired permissions, but I still have no sound. Thanks
10. iATOKOS 10.5.1, because it's the only one that runs on my Dell Inspiron 1520. Always gets stuck on IOAPIC on the other distros. I hope iATKOS 10.5.2/3 is released soon
11. Could you try to make it work with inspiron 1520? My Dell Inspiron 1520 gets stuck trying to boot the install DVD. This is the last thing I see with every kernel option (Kalyway 10.5.2 and Leo4Allv2 10.5.2) ------------------------- MAC Framework successfully initialized using 16384 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers IOAPIC: Version 0x20 Vectors 0:23 [] --------------------------------------------- uses GM 965, nVidia 8600M, Core2Duo, 4GB RAM. iATKOSv2 10.5.1 boots up but it's only 10.5.1
12. Does a 9.2.2 kernel make it even faster / better? And does kalyway or anyone else have a nice installer for it?
13. Unfortunately this does not work for me. Thanks for your reply.
