    [GUIDE] Dell Latitude E6410

For some reason I always get stuck when I boot verbose. Try booting without -v. Proper DSDT fixes this problem
  2. Thanks for the ethernet 64 bit fix. It worked great. I got a cheap Dell WLAN card online, solved my wireless problem.
  3. The dsdt worked great for me. Now everything is working except internal LAN any ideas guys?
  4. Hey thank you so much. now that all of that is fixed i'm considering doing a fresh install without all of those extra kexts I added. how did you do the install? Boot 132 and retail install dvd? did you use the combo update or normal system updates. I have a time machine backup so I'm not worried about losing my data. Well...I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks so much for your help Ben
  5. Hey all, It's been a while seen I attended this thread. How are all of you doing? Well, to the point: 1. has anyone gotten sleep to work? it's the one thing I never got working on my e6400, and 2. any of you guys have poor performance playing hd video through youtube or other web sites. Through vlc or even quicktime sometimes it plays fine, but it is EXTREMELY choppy in safari/firefox/opera/chrome (I've tried them all :-/) G*D DAMN FLASH!!!!
  6. With dell bluetooth not working on 10.6.4 I and I assume others need a way to get the trackpad working on 10.6.3...or a way to get dell bluetooth to work with 10.6.4. The update is downloadable on their website but only works on 10.6.4. Any ideas people?
  7. UPDATE!!! So I got wifi to work. I updated IONetworkingFamily.kext to change the version it needed of the other plugins, long story short, my wifi is now working! Bluetooth is odd. The BT icon in the menu bar says not available however my bluetooth keyboard works. I'll post my networking file anyone let me know if you have luck with BT so my magic mouse can start going. IONetworkingFamily.kext.zip
  8. Installed 10.6.4 and lost wifi (internal dell b/g chip) and dell bluetooth. anyone have any ideas?
  9. Voodoo's got a kext for the battery on there site. There's one that's like voodoopowermini and one voodoobattery (not sure about the exact names. Those should help you out
  10. So here it is. A completely working (Bluetooth, Dell Wireless, HD Audio, Trackpad, nub, keyboard, displayport, graphics, etc.) except for sleep/shut down, set of extensions and extra files for 10.6.3 though I think it might also work with 10.6.2. Extract these files to /System/Library/Extensions: http://www.mediafire.com/?mnqmmnmwtmg (backup: http://www.zshare.net/download/766376351c8cea74/) Extract these files to / : http://www.mediafire.com/?igi1no5oeld (backup: http://www.zshare.net/download/7663765062af1237/) Let me know how this works for you guys. Extra.zip
  11. Everything except sleep/shutdown works on my 10:6:3. Ill post a zip of my extras and extensions folders when I get home from work at the apple store hehe. Hope this helps you guys. Lemme know how it goes
  12. Make sure you have the *newest* version of voodoops2controller (available here http://forum.voodooprojects.org/index.php/topic,235.0.html) Also, remove BOTH APPLEACPIPS2 in Extra and in S/L/E. You should not have duplicates (how you got them I'm not sure maybe you used kexthelper when you were supposed to put them in Extra). Whatever the case. This is what worked for me. I hope it helps you out.
  13. Kexthelper puts it in system/library/extensions. You want it in extra/extensions. Then use kept utility or osx86tools
