  1. [UEFIPatch] UEFI patching utility

    Oh ... Thank you.
  2. [UEFIPatch] UEFI patching utility

HI I also tried on my Asus rampage III gene (X58) (AMI) and get following: PMPatch 0.5.11 PowerManagement modules not found. AMI nest modules not found. Phoenix nest modules not found. CpuPei modules not found. I also tried to open with the BIOS.ROM file with FD44Editor (Mac) and get this: Error parsing BIOS data. $BOOTEFI$ signature not found. Please open correct ASUS BIOS file. Probably my board is a no go. Any way thank you a lot for sharing
  3. Fix: VoodooHDA KP (10.6.8 + 10.7.x)

Thank you very much it works wonderfully, I was near at a loss I have a couple of Latitude D620 and was nearly giving them up two KP on 5 starts ... even sleep work's very nice. Thank you for this wonderfully crafted tool. :D
  4. G5 Front Panel to ATX I/O Cables

Hi., can this be adapted with more or less difficulty to a G5 late 2005 case? Thank you very much.
  5. Thank's a lot for posting. I could install preview 2 like preview 1 with iBoot4 on Zotac Geforce 9300 my DSDT is as is so not very performant. No sleep and sound crunchy. Again Thank's
  6. DSDT Auto-Patcher

I just sent you my sent_me file from Zotac ge9300 ITX. Thanks a lot for your efforts. send_me.zip
  7. Hi, just don't give up, Geforce 9300 makes a nice small Mac I'm in love with it I build 4 pieces the first ones (2X)01 version board with only two Sata + one e-Sata no USB wake up. The later version 03(also 2X) with three Sata + one e-Sata and working USB wake up. The major problem with this board is the onboard Ethernet I tried for some time but no avail... alas. The problem as you encountered is bios reset after sleep... So I decided to use either a presto Gigabit PCIe Basic from Sonet some thing like 20-30$ and for wifi a PCIe Wifi board all are Mac compatible but you have to choose either Ethernet or Wifi this is the price for this ITX board. On BIOS setup exclude the onboard Ethernet! Quite some time ago I posted all that was needed on Rapidshare the first one was Zotac_9300_ITX.zip this one worked something 10.6.3 then problem with came up with sound so I made a second package (It's all there) with bootloader and Chameleon2RC4 It is no more a Vanilla install a in the first one and you have to install the HDA kext which is also included. So here for the first package: http://rapidshare.com/files/322726512/Zotac_9300_ITX.zip and for the last one: http://rapidshare.com/files/373568162/Cham...C4Zotac_Pkg.rar If you have problems you just mail me. I wish you luck
  8. Hello MOCKBA80, it took me quite some time for installing Final Cut I I was nearly giving up but lately I came across Final Cut Express4 and it worked so I gave a try to Final Cut Pro 7 and lo it worked to. Looks nice.
  9. Hi, it works just re-install former AppleHDA.kext I just uploaded the above kext. hope it works. 10.6.4_OSX_update.tiff AppleHDA.kext.zip
  10. I uploaded a new one http://rapidshare.com/files/373568162/Cham...C4Zotac_Pkg.rar Should work.
  11. Hi, I' glad you used my way which belongs to this tread without this I would be nowhere I had the same problem with de audio LegacyHDA.kext which allowed a vanilla install .... this is now past. To get the sound back my first option was to delete AudioAUUC.kext could not find at the moment better a better solution but a day later reading then reading the Tinush tread (thanks a lot Tinush) talking about a new AppleHDA I downloaded it ( AppleHDA 1.8.4fc3) and lo sound was back but not only it worked but sound improved dramatically my mike input is practically noiseless also the internal speakers sound looks clean, before some low hum was also bugging me... again great ... this upgrade was very useful at least to me. Video seems also faster (it's not perfect with Acrobat while scrolling some black traits when I use the hand but the scrolling wheel is OK so I don't bother) the audio kext link http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=140941 I just uploaded my new Chameleon2 RC4 package with all the kexts and Extra files... I hope it works for every body. I have a Zotac 00 and 03 board version and work's on both. Chameleon2 RC4 Zotac package (it seems there where some problem with the down load ... this should work now) http://rapidshare.com/files/373568162/Cham...C4Zotac_Pkg.rar Of course Thinush's solution was a great healer. Thank's again Tinush for sharing.
  12. Hi every body, I'm delighted with this board to me its near perfect because x64 does not work and ethernet does not. So for x64 I do not care but sleep was the issue for me. for ethernet I bought Sonnet Presto Gigabit PCIe Basic at $29 https://eshop.macsales.com/item/Sonnet%20Technology/GE1000E/ and for the WiFi solution on Ebay I found a PCIe Broadcom 2 Antenna PCI-E 802.11n WIFI card BCM4321 PC OSX 10.6.1 for 37$ Both worked out of the box the later no more available from the seller. I found an other which should also work it is a Wireless WiFi 11n PCI-E Card Mac Pro G5 Airport 300Mbps http://cgi.ebay.ch/Wireless-WiFi-11n-PCI-E...e#ht_1775wt_941 Two days ago I got the 03 version board Ethernet still not working and resets cmos after a sleep on reboot. but wake works with left mouse click this with the ethernet or wifi boards mentioned above. Also if and USB drive is connected you don't get any error message any more and of course you have internally 3xSATA... to me a near perfect Mac. My install was Vanilla with Dreamwatcher DSDT and a prepared Dr Hurt Chamaleon 2 RC3 the kexts are listed below I also put the link on rapidshare of my modded DrHurt Chameleon 2 RC3 but I wont take any responsibility as you will understand I hope and look at my BIOS settings below. http://rapidshare.com/files/322726512/Zotac_9300_ITX.zip I just would like to thank every body here for making the Mac possible on a Zotac ge 9300 ITX and I'm not taking any credit for my self with out this post I would never have put together this Snow 10.6.2 BIOS setting : in CPU Feature: Virtualization Technology (enabled) Advanced Chipset Features: On Board GPU (always Enable) iGPU FrameBuffer Control (manual) Frame Buffer Size (512M) iGPU clock (Auto) Integrated Peripherals: MPC Storage Config: SATA Operation Mode (AHCI) MPC Storage Config: SATA Operation Mode (AHCI) Hardware Monitor: (Optional) CPU SmartFan Control (Disabled) CPU Fan Control (75%) MCP Superio Config On Chip Serial Port (Disabled) MAC Lan (Disabled) Machine MAC(NV) Address (disabled) Onboard Serial Port 1 (disabled) USB Device Setting: USB Operation Mode (Full/Low Speed) Power Management Setup: ACPI Suspend Type (S3(STR)) Zotac_kexts.tiff
  13. @Alexylee unfortunately I still experienced CMOS reset and this with ElliottForceLegacyRTC kext did not prevent it so my advice was a poor one. I was once more trying to restore the onboard nforce lan. It did not work so now I just decided shut this port down at BIOS level and remove the concerned kext. I inserted again my pci-e gigabit card which mac-pro compatible, no kext needed and no problems with sleep or CMOS reset (so Far). I cross my fingers. cheers
  14. Hi, you may try this at http://stellarola.tumblr.com/post/165429070/prepare-yourself ElliottForceLegacyRTC - Fixes CMOS reset if your DSDT is not edited with the RTC fix to me it helped. cheers
