[Tuto] QE_CI Exotic Patch via Clover

Bonsoir! Je viens de comparer le fichier ATIRadeonX2000 original avec ta patch. Dans ce post tu n'as pas parlé de ça: "Replace 1 byte at offset 0x68d59 with 1 byte" Il faut donc changer 3E avec 3A? Merci!

    QE_CI Exotic Patch

Hi, what is the binary part in ATIRadeonX2000 that has been patched with 909090909090? Thanks!
  4. Version 1.0

Patched as usual. Credits to netkas. I just have one exotic card, not all of them, so, before stating "it does not work" please check if your ID is in both plist.

QE_CI Exotic Patch for macOS Sierra 10.12.5

you just need to add your ID into Info.plist.
  6. Version

Just patched as usual. Works fine on Radeon 4830. Probably forgotten some id's in AMD4800Controller's Index.plist.

QE_CI Exotic Patch for macOS 10.12.4

This patch was for 10.12.4 not for 10.12.5. I shall soon upload new one.

QE_CI Exotic Patch for macOS 10.12.4

Probably 4890 id was missing in Info.plist. I uploaded a new version putting ALL ids I found in 10.12.3 patch; give it a try.

QE_CI Exotic Patch for macOS 10.12.4

That's weird, are you sure you cleaned the cache? what card are you using? The only thing I can think of is AMD4800 Info.plist is missing your card's id.
  10. Version

This is the so called exotic patch for Radeon 48XX cards. All credits goes to Netkas and fantomas who taught me how to patch it This is a NEW VERSION (Monday April the 17th 2017): I fixed Info.plist in AMD4800.kext and ATIRAdeonX2000.kext. If old version didn't work give it a try.

    QE_CI Exotic Patch

IOPCIMatch cannot be like that... The vanilla should cointain the device id it has been designed for; the patched should contain the string you wrote. This is what I have (vanilla 10.11.3) <key>IOPCIMatch</key> <string>0x94401002 0x944a1002</string> <key>IOProbeScore</key> <integer>65050</integer> <key>IOProviderClass</key> <string>IOPCIDevice</string> my id is 0x944cx1002 (which I change trough CLOVER config)

    QE_CI Exotic Patch

Anyway if patching on the fly is not working you always can change ATIRadeonX2000 and AMD4800Controller with the patched ones by Fantomas. If you cannot find patches for 10.11.3 I guess you can use the ones for 10.11.2 and rebuild the cache. I used to do that when I used Chameleon. http://www.osx86.net/file/4679-qe_ci-exotic-patch-10113/

fantomas wrote a Tutorial which you need to follow for the patch to work. Unfortunately, it's in french! I hope you understand it http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/296949-tuto-qe-ci-exotic-patch-via-clover/
