  1. Apogee Duet Firewire problems

Same issue here with the 10.7 GM release... Did you get any indication from them of when a Lion driver release is due? Also, any luck with a work-around for changing the volume? On mine, a volume change seems to sporadically work, but most of the time gets reset to what it was prior to attempting to change it, after the freeze/reset. Same thing happens with the standard Apple volume controls, Maestro, and the hardware knob. Right now it's stuck on too loud
  2. Windows Activation Issue

AFAIK Parallels is supposed to create a new hardware profile in XP, and automatically switch to this profile when booting XP in parallels. This should avoid your activation issues... as to why it's not doing that I'm not sure. I don't dual boot, myself, I just use XP in a VM, but the Parallels forums would probably be your best bet. You can also try creating the hardware profile yourself, when booted through parallels... but I would only try this as a last resort: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documen...e.mspx?mfr=true
  3. Realtek 8139 / FX6200 now working

I just tried the pacifist method from the JaS re-seed disk and it worked fine for me. I'm using an onboard realtek. Thanks guys!!
  4. [HowTo] X1600/X1800 Full Support (Borisbadenov Method)

I am using this with an x1600 that I picked up at best buy and it works perfectly with DVI (using Dell 2400FPW @ 1920X1200.) My card ID is 0x71c2 and it's an 'ATI Radeon x1600 PRO' PCIe w/512MB of DDR2. Don't know if it will work for all, but I just wanted to post that DVI works for me...
  5. "Now i can change the resolution of my screen." <-- That means Callisto DID work. Callisto doesn't give you acceleration. I'm in the same boat as you, I have the Callisto drivers but can't get CI/QE working with the plugin modifications. I've been searching the forums and haven't found anyone that has... If anyone has gotten CI/QE to work with an x700 & Callisto, speak up!
  6. Wide Screen Resolution

I'm having the same issue with my x700 and dell 2405fpw... I got it to work with the 9700 driver patch on an updated 10.4.6 install, but it won't go into 1920X1200. I have it set to 1920X1200 but it goes into standard aspect 1600X1200. I would think it was a limitation of the device that the driver was written for, however, when I accidentally typed in 1920X1600 I think it worked. I say *think* because my monitor said that the resolution was not supported. I have no way of verifying... Could this be a problem with OS X not recognising the monitor as a wide-aspect? Is there anywhere to tinker with the monitor profile? There must be something telling OS X to go to standard aspect.
