  1. Hi guys, Anyone find a way to install OSX on XenServer 6 ? I found some guides for older versions of Xen, but a lot has changed, even since version 5. Wondering if there is any update ? I tried creating an empty VM and installing using "Other Media" however the VM almost instantly reboots. I tried a retail 10.7 image and iATKOS L2. But didn't work. I've also tried migrating an iATKOS L2 install that i got working on VMWARE and used XenConverter to migrate the VM. This also did not work. The VM boots up, boot loader shows up, grey apple mac screen shows up for a bout a minute, but then the VM restarts i reInstalled IATKOS with the fake smc, some drivers, and migrated it again from VMware to XenServer 6, but still no go, same thing.
  2. Asus 1201N Installation and support

    Hi Guys, Im following this guide, i've got a 1201N that i've upgraded with a G.Skill Falcon 2 SSD 64gb I created a bootable 10.6.3 USB stick using a hackintosh 10.6.0 and then patched it with: NetbookBootMaker 0.8.4 RC1 The laptop boots off the usb stick, i get the grey apple screen and white logo and then the laptop's screen turns blue and starts flickering :/ and it gets stuck at that point

  4. 7300LE + 6200TC = 3 Monitor Heaven

    Sorry everyone, finally got around to it: A couple of important settings you must know about: the motherboard: ga-945gcmx-s2 (rev 6.6 - bios F4) must be set to boot from PEG2 The 6200TC is configured to run the middle monitor and it is inserted into the PCIex4 slot The 7300LE is configured to run the side monitors and is inserted into the PCIex16 slot. Also an interesting note i'd like to make is i used the BSEL mod to mod my E2160 from 800 fsb (1.8 g hz) to 1333 fsb (3.0 ghz): The funny thing i found is the motherboard runs the sata controller fine in windows @ 1333 fsb, but mac osx can only go to a max fsb of 1066 ? - everything boots fine at 1333 in mac, but the sata controller doesnt seem to work. Anything attached to it doesnt get recognised at 1333 fsb ? (perhaps a bad kernel version im using - i might have to try Leo4Allv3) ? Finally, here is the plist: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>PciRoot(0x1)/Pci(0x1c,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)</key> <dict> <key>@0,compatible</key> <string>NVDA,NVMac</string> <key>@0,device_type</key> <string>display</string> <key>@0,name</key> <string>NVDA,Display-A</string> <key>@1,compatible</key> <string>NVDA,NVMac</string> <key>@1,device_type</key> <string>display</string> <key>@1,name</key> <string>NVDA,Display-B</string> <key>@2,#adress-cells</key> <string>0x01000000</string> <key>@2,#size-cells</key> <string>0x00000000</string> <key>@2,compatible</key> <string>NVDA,sensor-parent</string> <key>@2,device_type</key> <string>NVDA,gpu-diode</string> <key>@2,hwctrl-params-version</key> <string>0x02000000</string> <key>@2,hwsensor-params-version</key> <string>0x02000000</string> <key>@2,name</key> <string>sensor-parent</string> <key>@2,reg</key> <string>0x02000000</string> <key>NVCAP</key> <data> BAABAAAAAwAMAAAAAAAABwAAAAA= </data> <key>NVPM</key> <data> AQAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA </data> <key>device_type</key> <string>NVDA,GeForce</string> <key>model</key> <string>NVIDIA GeForce 6200 TC EFI</string> <key>name</key> <string>NVDA,Parent</string> <key>rom-revision</key> <string>0x32323033</string> </dict> <key>PciRoot(0x1)/Pci(0x1,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)</key> <dict> <key>@0,VRAM,memsize</key> <data> AAAABAAAAAg= </data> <key>@0,compatible</key> <data> TlZEQSxOVk1hYw== </data> <key>@0,device_type</key> <data> ZGlzcGxheQ== </data> <key>@0,name</key> <data> TlZEQSxEaXNwbGF5LUE= </data> <key>@1,VRAM,memsize</key> <data> AAAABAAAAAg= </data> <key>@1,compatible</key> <data> TlZEQSxOVk1hYw== </data> <key>@1,device_type</key> <data> ZGlzcGxheQ== </data> <key>@1,name</key> <data> TlZEQSxEaXNwbGF5LUI= </data> <key>NVCAP</key> <data> BAAAAAAAAwAMAAAAAAAABwAAAAA= </data> <key>NVPM</key> <data> AQAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA== </data> <key>device_type</key> <data> TlZEQSxHZUZvcmNl </data> <key>model</key> <string>NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE EFI</string> <key>name</key> <data> TlZEQSxQYXJlbnQ= </data> <key>rom-revision</key> <data> MzE3NQ== </data> </dict> <key>PciRoot(0x1)/Pci(0x1b,0x0)</key> <dict> <key>PinConfigurations</key> <string></string> <key>built-in</key> <string>0x00</string> <key>layout-id</key> <string>0x0000000c</string> <key>revision-id</key> <string>0x00000001</string> <key>subsystem-id</key> <string>0x0000a002</string> <key>subsystem-vendor-id</key> <string>0x00001458</string> <key>vendor-id</key> <string>0x00008086</string> </dict> </dict> </plist>
  5. 7300LE + 6200TC = 3 Monitor Heaven

    Ladies n gents, I thought I'd share my success story with my hackintosh. As i've been poking around for quite a while trying to get this little sucker to work, i finally managed to pull it off. Initially I started off with the integrated GMA950 and 7300LE. However I couldn't get the two to play nice. So i discovered my mobo has a 4x PCIe slot which actually isnt limited. I can pup a 16x card in the 4x slot as the slot is "Open" on the end. So i decided to throw in a 6200 TC that i had laying around and it now plays nice with the 7300LE Best of all, i didnt have to add / edit any kexts, i just used EFI strings and voila, it works: Here are the pics, ill post the plist and hex string later as it also includes the ALC888 string.

  11. SoundMAX ADI AD 1888 VIA Users - Get 4.0 Audio!

    I tried getting this to work on an ADI 1988b audio (ASUS P5B Deluxe WiFi) - however when i went into the Info.plist file i could not find any vendorid. Hence this audio patch did not work for me Cartri - is there any chance you could patch it so that it would work with my audio chipset ? My details are: VEN_11D4&DEV_198B
  12. PixelView 7900GS 256MB PCIE - all resolutions I'm running it @ 3840x1024 using a matrox TripleHead2Go adapter, titan.kext and 3 LCD monitors Quartz and CoreImage work perfectly.

  15. ASUS WL-138g v2

    I bought this card based on the Wiki. Spend 50$AUD on it. But it was worth every penny Very simple to get it to work under OSX. Just edit the Info.plist file using the link provided above and add the device ID: 4318 and it works HAPPY DAYS
