  1. Guys any clue on how to do the Hex Edit for 10.9.4 or Yosemite ?
  2. Any update on how to patch it for 10.9.3 ?
  3. I have been using just that since 10.9. Was able to patch 10.8.x kexts. Problem with BCM5722 driver is we have to reload the kext after every sleep, and incase of boot up with ethernet cable attached.
  4. Ofcourse. My Ethernet Card however is Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme BCM57760 14e4:1690. Using yours and Mieze's method i have been able to get the AppleBCM kext to recognise and register it. However, i have been unable to get the Kext to recognise that the Cable is plugged. It only shows that the Cable is unplugged. Tried to put in manually address's however that doesn't work either as ifconfig states en0 as inactive even with cable connected.
  5. Hi, Would this method work for BCM57760 14e4:1690 ? Been trying many methods without any result !

Hi Netkas, Would it be possible for you to provide the same Kext for Mountain Lion. Or atleast let me know what all values have you bin-patched.. Thanks in advance..

  8. AppleACPIBattery in 32/64 flavor for Snow Kitty.

Guys, Question no 1 : Do you have AppleSmartBatteryManager.kext in /S/L/E ? Question no 2 : Could you guys check your dsdt and check if there is any reference to battery. Please post the kernel panic logs so that i can help you in anyway..
  9. ATi Mobility Radeon x1700

Hi RightEye, Got one question, saw your attachment to xorti (Extensions.zip) it has ATIFramebuffer and ATINDRV aswell.. Does having ATIFramebuffer make any difference at all? i tried doing the same but its usually ATINDRV which takes precedence and a 32bit version ATIWormy is loaded.. Though i usually have some weird problems having it, i.e sometimes the screen goes blue and come back again.. but apart from that everything work ! Just that its still 32 bit. How to get full resolution support in ATIFramebuffer ?? Thanks, A.Xavier
  10. Hi Dong, I tried your RadeonHD.kext in snow leo as well as leo.. Got some weird problems.. 1) When os boots .. i have a blank screen.. only to get display when changing the power source. 2) On trying to change the resolution... same thing.. have to replug the power cable. 3) On all the resolutions working... but no QE / CI. Specs: Graphic Card : ATI Radeon FireGL V5250 on Lenovo T60p. Would provide dump if needed.
  11. ATI Radeon FireGL on Snow Leopard 10A432.

I got it working .. atleast partially ... please find the steps below: 1) Take a copy of ATINDRV.kext from leopard. In Snow leo enter the following commands. Have everything Vanila... 1) mv ATIFramebuffer.kext ATIFramebuffer.kext.backup 2) cp -Rf /User/xxx/Desktop/ATINDRV.kext /System/Library/Extensions/ Then .. 3) hexedit ATIRadeonX1000.kext/MacOS/ATIRadeonX1000 and replace 71DE to 71D4. 4) replace 71DE to 71D4 in Info.plist in ATIRadeon1000.kext. That should do it.. All the best. Thanks and Regards. A.Xavier
  12. ATi Mobility Radeon x1700

Hello RightEye, Any update as to what the problem might be... I tried searching the ATIFramebuffer file for any instances of 71DE or DE71.. but no.. Everything seems to work except Resolution.. There should be a way to get the resolution thing working in it too.. Moreover, i dont think it would be possible to have ATINDRV written in 64bit cause the sources are not available.. But its a little weird that apple would not go for backward compatibility when its working with 10.5.x and not with 10.6.x ... there has to be some other reason.. Please do give me any inputs if you have.. Thanks, A.Xavier
  13. AppleACPIBattery in 32/64 flavor for Snow Kitty.

Same here... The one i compiled for 32/64 bit works flawlessly in my T60... Userx : Do you have dsdt.aml file in your root partition.. i feel that might be an issue.. if you do.. try to run ubuntu through usb, copy the dsdt, and place it in the root partition.. Most probably it might give you an error saying could not find drivers for the current system.. it gives to me.. if it does decompile it and change the starting definition block names.. Thanks, A.Xavier
