    ASUS Z87-Pro - Mac OSX 10.9.4 Mavericks

My screen goes blank after the Apple logo during install. I never get to the actual setup. I've tried PciRoot=1 and GraphicsEnabler=No which were referenced on the MyHack troubleshooting section but neither resolve the problem. Running a GTX780 and the Asus Z87-Pro with the latest BIOS.
  2. I used a modded BIOS to allow all 4 cores to function inside OSX but for some reason I can no longer set my RAM to its native 1066 speed, the P5Q just reports that "overclocking failed". Anyone have any ideas?
  3. I've got a ASUS P5Q Pro Turbo and modded the BIOS to detect all four cores on my Q9550. I installed iDeneb 1.4 and upgraded Leopard to 10.5.8. With NVKush installed I seem to get full acceleration with the screensavers and the genie affect but system profiler detects that my VRAM is 256mb instead of my EVGA 9800GT's 512MB. Also insanelymac.com seems to lag a little bit when I scroll up or down so I'm slightly under the impression that even though QE is supported I'm not getting full 2D/3D acceleration. Can anyone help me figure out the best way to setup my video card? I attached a screenshot of system profiler.
  4. I've read everything on here but I am at a dead end. I have a single hard drive in my system with no OS on it and its plugged into the red ICH10R port. When I boot the iDeneb 1.4 install disk and select the disk utility, it doesn't detect the disk. I have AHCI enabled as well. Any ideas? Also one more thing. System Profiler says that I have 0 processors and 1 core. I'm running a Q9550 and have flashed the BIOS on my P5Q Pro Turbo to a modded BIOS. Can anyone give me some help? Thanks!

Hello. Has anyone tried installing OSX on an HP Elitebook 6930p? If so how compatible is it and what version did you use? For example, iDeneb 1.4.

P5Q Pro Turbo / Modded BIOS

Well, i've been searching through Google and the Forums for a couple weeks now. I am about to give up! I purchased an "ASUS P5Q Pro Turbo" and read that the P5Q's need a BIOS update for all four cores to work properly. The problem is, the only modded BIOS I can find are for the P5Q Pro, or P5Q Turbo, but no P5Q Pro Turbo BIOS. Does anybody have a working modded BIOS for the latest BIOS on the P5Q Pro Turbo?

    Gigabyte EP43-DS3L audio sound solution

Ok. I installed the driver on iDeneb 1.3 (Leopard 10.5.5) and under audio settings it shows that I have a device installed and the system sounds are no longer gray. The thing is, I plugged my speakers into Line Out but I did not hear any sound for iTunes or any other app. I selected Line Out as the output but this did not resolve the problem. I tried plugging headphones in instead but I had the same result. Anyone have any thoughts?

    Gigabyte EP43-DS3L audio sound solution

It would be nice to know if this works for iDeneb 1.3 (Leo 10.5.5) on vanilla kernel with my EP43-DSL... If no one responds, I will try to post results tonight.

OSX 10.5.5 (iDeneb 1.3) Kernel & Boot Options

I reinstalled the OS. I did not select a kernel. The only option I added was the 2600xt PCIE. No sound or anything. I'm under the assumption that this is the cause as it still booted to the blue screen with the mouse in the upper left hand corner again. I can move the mouse but a copy of the mouse cursor remains in the default spot. I'm going to reinstall with zero options selected to see if that fixes the problem. If it does, I will be posting in the HW section for my video card.

OSX 10.5.5 (iDeneb 1.3) Kernel & Boot Options

Nevermind about the boot flag, -X is safe mode. I finally found it while searching. Ill do a -V for verbose and see what happens. Do you think the patched kernel is the cause? I selected the 2600xt PCIE in the custom options....
