    Hey, Unfortunately I don't know if I have DVI support in SL or leo. that is since I only have a VGA monitor, so i cant check if DVI is working or not. The weird thing is (which I just noticed the last time i "tried" running SL) is when I press the power button (on my comp. case) for a split second the screen changes from the blue screen and shows me the desktop in proper colours and then of course switches off. havent updated my system yet since the first thing i tried was getting the graphics card to work .. you think i should update to 10.6.2 first and then change resolution?

    hey everyone firstly congrats to those that got it to work... although mine apparently is seen in profiler properly nothing edited straight after SL install it shows up as nVidia ... 9500 gt yet when i boost the resolution, in fact, any resolution the screen becomes blue and doesn't change back to the desktop yet i have tried doing the steps in the tutorial (the ones for Snow Leopard) and same exact outcome can anyone shed some light on this one? thanks in advance yours diby mobo P5Q (no suffix) Graphics XFX NV 9500GT VGA-DVI multi-boot Win XP | Win 7 | Mac leopard | Snow Leopard Sata HDD 1TB, 500GB, 250GB (any missing info please tell me) nvcap strings 0400000000000100060000000000000700000000

Hey Marionez! seriously great work you cant imagine how amazing this is! one thing i do want to ask, is it possible for me to have 2 different outputs at the same time (eg. front green output and back green output together?) my ableton live does not show a secondary output do you get what i mean? if not please pm me yours diby-amir
  7. Hey all, I was planning on buying a new laptop My problem is I dont know what to expect from any. I've propperly installed osx on my desktop (mobo asus p5q) although i dont know which laptops will n wont work all I know is I should not buy a laptop with Intel integrated graphics the x4500 since i wont get resolutions above 1042x800 anything else i need to look out for? thanx in advance p.s. is there a special brand that works completely (almost) oob? d!by-Amir

IPC/IDENEB/IATKOS OSX>>>>> http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=144020 OSX RETAIL>>>>> http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=144020 with me ideneb 3 didn't really work (well everything does except that I couldn't get both cores to work with my core 2 duo (patched bios of course) but i tried IPC universal (ppf5) n both cores work. everything works great with me just still can't get my IDE hdd's to work but with a couple of re-tries I guess it will work with me my specs. mobo P5Q (no suffix) CPU C2D E8400 3GHz 6mb cache (recognised as 3GHz unknown) Graphics 9500GT 512mb (working with tut on insanelymac somewhere, pm if you need the link) 4 HDD's 2 sata/2 IDE (sata works) WIFI card Netgear WG311t (working with kext) LAN onboard (working with patch) audio onboard (working with patch) RAM 4 GB 800mhz hope this will help you to decide Amir

  12. just that one problem i have .. i have a core 2 duo e8400 (3.00ghz 6mb l2 cache) although only one core is running. I am using the ASUS P5Q 1611 Modded Bios by juzzi but still only one core is working is there any way to resolve this issue? thanks in advance Amir
