  1. Salve a tutti!

    Anyone mobile Kepler 6xxM working?

Ok... I digged more on this topic... The problem could be that the system does not load the vBIOS info at all!! In fact if I try to extract it nothing happens from booted system using VNC... I believe that the crucial info about connectors relies in vBIOS and OSX can't load it for some reasons!! We have to find a way to inject that info without the usage of vBIOS or to load a compatible vBIOS... What do you think about it?

    Anyone mobile Kepler 6xxM working?

And so?? Has anybody got a path for the solution of this?? No display detected, a common, weird issue affecting almost all mobile kepler cards... Where should we investigate? How could we debug information from linux??

    Anyone mobile Kepler 6xxM working?

What do you mean?!? I have no alterated settings except Optimus disabled to make nVidia works...

    Anyone mobile Kepler 6xxM working?

Same exact situation for me!! It's just that I don't have ultrabay card! The internal nVidia is recognized as nVidia chip model. I managed to inject some properties and got the name changed but still no monitor were detected!! :/ Please someone help us out!!

    Anyone mobile Kepler 6xxM working?

I got that information from the fact that my BIOS is fully unlocked! And there is a way to disable nVidia as well as Intel graphics, and if I disable nVidia, HDMI is not working anymore, and it does not work in windows as well as linux and OSX. Hence the HDMI port is dedicated to nVidia card sadly. Until now, none has been able to make VGA port working under OSX Mavericks (it worked until ML 10.8.5) so no external monitor for me at least until anyone will get the GT 650M working under OSX or VGA under mavericks. However as regards the nVidia card, if I delete NVDAStartup.kext I can boot OSX but of course with no acceleration! :/

    Anyone mobile Kepler 6xxM working?

I have to settle for the HD4000 too...but unfortunately VGA port does not work anymore with Mavericks and HDMI is dedicated to nVidia card, so I can't even use an external monitor!! And that's very annoying!! I do hope that someone will help us to work it out too.. In the meanwhile I'm still doing some (maybe useless) researches...

    Anyone mobile Kepler 6xxM working?

mm...I guess that's not the point! At least for me, my card is recognized and the kexts are all loaded. I even have QE/CI!!! The only problem is that OSX does not detect my monitor and so I have no signal on that (stuck in verbose actually). In fact, when I use the VNC monitor, OSX tells me that no monitors are attached! That's the only problem! Maybe OSX takes information about the connectors upon the VBIOS and our BIOSes are maybe different from working others! At least that's my supposition!! Please Aeros help us out!!

    Anyone mobile Kepler 6xxM working?

Unfortunately this issue appears to be very common to the kepler mobile card. The weird fact is that any other operating system works great and so there must be a problem with OSX drivers. But since nVidia driver are closed source, the only hope we have is to modify our hardware recognition to OSX. I wish someone very expert could help us out, because we are so close to the solution!! The cards are being recognized!! It's just that it can't take information on the connectors and can't see the attached monitor! It's such a shame! please somebody help us! I would be even willing to donate for this!
  12. Excuse me, I own an asus n56vz and you just said that you got the ASUS N56VZ and you got HDMI output when you disabled Optimus via BIOS. Did you manage to have GT 650M being working under OSX?? I have a modified bios to disable optimus and I can boot osx and the card is even being recognized but it only works over a VNC monitor. thanks in advance. Regards

    Anyone mobile Kepler 6xxM working?

I tried with web drivers too... But the problem is my monitor is not being detected. Do you have GT 650M working on your notebook? Could you share your VBIOS? Thank you!

Enabling GT 650M (Optimus Disabled via BIOS)

Well...actually you need to modify your BIOS by enabling some hidden options. The biggest problem is that even if it boots, OSX can't detect any attached display and you can just use it through VNC. :/

    Anyone mobile Kepler 6xxM working?

Power management?!? I guess that the biggest problem here is that OSX can't detect any display.
