    continue shows localhost:/ root# on a new line reboot just starts the whole problem again thanks thou

    I had a problem like this. What i did was change from Intel to AMD patch in the installer. The only downside to this is that you a localhost:/ root# loop, and im still working on that here http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=135298
  5. I have just installed Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1] in Vmware on my xp computer. It installed fine, on reboot i get a gray screen with a apple logo and a spinner. After about 20 seconds i get a lot of while text (something like segmentation fault), it scrolls past clears and repeats for about 2 minutes. After this i get localhost:/ root#. Help would be nice Thanks
