    ALC883 fully working drivers

Changed to the uploaded new kexts and all is working. It is automatically switching from headphone to speakers and vice versa. Thanks again!
  2. I tried this on my Acer TravelMate 4222WLMi and I could not get it to work properly. The Battery Icon appeared on the top bar, but when I hovered over it all it says is No Batteries Available. Also in the System Profiler, under Power it does not list the battery. Any Ideas as to what I did wrong? I ensured that the PowerMangement.Bundle was vanilla and not modified. thanks

    [SOLVED]ACL883 on Acer TravelMate 4220

oh come on!! nothing!? I have reinstalled the OS several times on this laptop. I can get the microphone to work, and it will get the volume control on the top bar. Whenever I go into System Information it doesnt show really much of anything. ' I can get the microphone to work, but no headphones or speakers.
  5. I cannot get any sound. Im running iDeneb 1.3 on an Acer TravelMate 4220, everything is working peachy keen save for the wireless and the sound. The wireless is an intel chipset, Im going to replace the card to see if that helps solve the problem, but the sound I just cannot figure out. The chipset is the ACL883, I have tried to use the X86Tools to automatically download the drivers and install them, that didnt work, but it did bring the sound icon near the clock. Ok, next I tried the ALC883Audio.pkg that was on this site, that didnt work and I also tried the AzailaAudio.pkg nad that again didnt work. Any suggestions? **EDIT** A few things, also, I just checked and I can see input coming from the Microphone, but nothing out of the speakers or headphone jack. **EDIT EDIT** Alright, got this solved from another thread. Will post the thread link in a bit.(forgot to copy it)
