    Sony VAIO VGN-NR31Z/S

I have Sony VAIO FZ38M and had the same problem with iDeneb v1.3 and iATKOS 5i. Graphic card 8400m GT have two interfaces one for internal (digital interface) LCD and the other (analog interface) for external LCD monitor. So after an out after installation i suspect that the Leopard didn't recognize graphic adapter corectly and I tried to connect external LCD to VGA output. I was right, the VGA output works just fine. Also, I tried HDMI which reasonably doesn't work. If I try some "exotic" application I got message that my card doesn't support such feature, but 8400 should. So, after installing OS X on VAIO, connect external LCD, if you have one, and install appropriate diver if you can find it.
  2. I found out what is going on. It is definetly a driver for graphic adapter. When I connect external monitor evrerything works fine, but if I try some foto application I got message that my graphic card does not support that operation. So where can I find driver for NVIDIA 8400m gt?
  3. Hello to everyone, during last days I am trying to resolve following issue. First of all let me introduce You with my laptop hardware configuration. Processor: Intel T8100 Chipset: Mobile Intel PM965 Express Graphics Controller: NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GT - 256 MB ... Meet the issue. For both installation, iDeneb v1.3 and iAktos i5, the scenario is the same. Intallation, as well asgoes very well. But, just after booting the system I got grey screen just like one on the begining of the instalation, and after that nothing. When I say nothing I realy mean it. Just no picture on lcd panel, like its turned off. Maybe everything else is going well, but I just can not see it. Machine is still working but without picture. Can it be some graphic adapter driver problem? Does anybody have idea?
  4. Did anybody tried this with success? Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 Chipset: Mobile Intel PM965 Express Memory: 4GB Graphics: nVidia GeForce 8400M GS Optical Storage: Optiarc BD ROM BC-5500A ATA
  5. I just got vmware image of 10.5.5 and it seems a slow. I try to grand more memory but still without performance progress. Also, I can't change resolution. It is 1024x768 by default. I am using VMware Server 2. Can someone help me to resolve this issue?

    Got by iDeneb /com.apple.boot.plist

Just enter BIOS and set password protection on boot. Of course choose desired password. On next boot just enter your pasword and there will be no error. To enter BIOS in your VM, if you are unable to start BIOS with Delete or F2, enter "Configure VM" and on Power tab check "Enter the BIOS setup screen the next time this virtual machine boots". Thats all.
  8. Thanks Cris. I will try this. Lucky my there is an offical driver release for my M-Audio Transit Audio card. Best regards.
  9. Just got started with installation of iDeneb 10.5.5 on vmware server 2 and have some problems. I've created virtual machine as FreeBSD 32 bit (also Solaris 10 later) and after resolving >>>system config file '/com.apple.boot.slist' not found<<< issue have iDeneb spalsh screen, if I can call it like that, stays forever. I seems like it works something, if I can judge by the little rainbow. After 20 mins I got error from VMware remote console: Something like MEM_ALLOC ..@unicodeSimpleBase.c:783...log available in .......when I got this error, it is just that VMware remote console throws some exception not VMware Server. I am still able to run VMware remote console again, from the same point of course. And guess what still iDeneb splash screen "working" somthing... : (. Other virtual machines (Win XP...)works just fine. Did I configure virtual machine badly on creation? Please help.
