Hi there, i've recently bought a new motherboard, gigabyte m68m-s2p with chipset nforce 630 a and integrated graphics nvidia geforce 7025, although i've got a gigabyte nvidia geforce gt220 ddr3 card. The question is that if u can tell me about a version of 10.6 which can be fully compatible or as much as possible with my computer. Now, i think that i need your help and opinion to choose the best way, as i've already told in the title, to install osx snow leopard in my amd based computer. my computer have an AMD 64x2 5600+ processor @ 2.8GHZ, 3 modules of 1 GB DDR2 memory at 533 mhz, a Nvidia gt220 graphics adapter, alc 888 sound card, wireless i've got a conceptronic c150N stick with a ralink rt3070 chipset, a 160gb segate barracuda 7200 hdd (sata-2) and a rewriter and a dvd reader both lg and ide. My motherboard is an asrok alivenf6g-dvi board, with a nforce4 chipset, amd hammer south chipset, and one AM2 socket. i'm actually downloading two dvd's: one 10.6.2 snow leopard dvd modified by Hazard team, and another retail 10.6 dvd, i want to use it with empire efi. I ask you for opinions about what method of instalation you think that may be the best, both for usuability and the one that you think that will have less complications during the kexts instalation. please help me! i have the same issue as you, but the diference is that i have leo 10.5.8, who seems much older. I'm trying to write in my best english and i dont know if anything is wrong. HOla, me he comprado una nvidia geforce gt220 1gb drr3, y he instalado el ideneb v1.6 en mi ordenador satisfactoriamente. el problema es que aunque he seleccionado el soporte para gt220 y el controlador nvdarwin 1024 no me carga ningun kext en el inicio por lo que no tengo aceleración de hardware les pediria si me pudieran ayudar muchas gracias

podrias probar con el ipc 10.5.6 creo que te iria bien en cuanto a el wifi creo que tambien trae los kexts en el instalador

gracias, pero en españa no he encontrado esa marca la unica la linksys que como la lleva cisco pues aqui hay a parte ya tengo encargada la tarjeta aver si me la traen que cada vez estoy mas harto del windows mas errores y problemas cada segundo gracias a los 2

la verdad yo tube un ordenador parecido a ese y le instale el leo4all con el kernel modbin y el patch. me fue muy bien, me reconocio todo. lo mas seguro es que la que te vaya bien sea la ipc 10.5.6 siempre que le apliques el parche de un nucleo suerte

me podrias decir el modelo exacto por favor? haber si hay en ciudad real y tengo suerte. esta no te ha dado ningun problema no??? y los drivers son muy dificiles de instalar?

Bueno, intenta lo siguiente, instala un windows cualquiera borrando la particion que tenias del mac una vez instalado inicia otra vez el instalador del mac y haz una nueva tabla de particiones encima de la que hiciste del windows prueba con el kernel vanilla y instala todos los kexts correspondientes no instales ningun bootloader, solo el que venga de serie, es decir el chamaleon. bueno, es un poco guarreteo pero prueba y luego me cuentas
