    How to Remove OsX Partition

Gubble thx for the reply. Sorry to be a little ignoratnt but which disk utility are you talking about the OsX installer? How do you lock it?

    How to Remove OsX Partition

I guess I'm asking whether I can just remove OsX without reinstalling windows. If I formatted the second partition under the OsX installer as an NTFS file system wouldn't that just bring everything back to the way it was?

    "Installer" hangs when installing apps

Can somebody out there please help me with this installer problem as well. I can't install any .pkg files because the OsX installer just hangs when it's called to use. I'm running Jas 10.4.7 Install, not the upgrade but the straight 10.4.7 install from demonoid. I did actually install the semjaza decrypts but that hasn't done anything for me. I still can't see "about this mac" and the installer still doesn't work.

    How to Remove OsX Partition

Yeah there is only one hard disk. I install OsX after windows. Windows was already installed on the drive. So you're saying I can't remove OsX from my harddisk any more?
  5. Guys, I've previously set up osx on a separate partition and made it the default boot in my hard disk. I tried to remove it by actually deleting the partion (the osx one) that hosed my whole hard disk and I had to reinstall windows again. Is there a way to safely remove OSx and bring back my installation to the way it was when I first installed windows w/o OSx? Thx

    Dependency Errors?

Guys, I'm checking my extensions in system profiler and I have quite a few dependency errors on some of the extensions running. Is it OK to have these errors? Why do they happen? If not is there a way to fix them? Thx

    NAT ERRORS

I'm having the exact same problem. I've forwarded both the tcp and udp ports, tried disabling the firewall completely, disabled upnp in azureus to no effect. I don't even have a router, it's a dsl modem direct to pc. I am using the yukon 8e8001 skge.kext that was posted here. Anybody have any clues.

Marvell Yukon 8001 - the driver

Now I'm also getting a bunch of errors like this APC4: family specific matching fails when the computer boots. Any ideas? Edit: I tried reinstalling the kext and it works on reboot but I'm gettin like a hundred of these errors below: PCH: family specific matching fails APCI: family specific matching fails APCJ: family specific matching fails APCK: family specific matching fails APCS: family specific matching fails APCL: family specific matching fails APCM: family specific matching fails AP3C: family specific matching fails J APCZ: family specific matching fails APSI: family specific matching fails APSJ: family specific matching fails SYSR: family specific matching fails PIC: family specific matching fails DMA1: family specific matching fails Is this because of the yukon driver???
  10. Guys I'm running Myzars 10.4.4-10.4.5 and I get a whole bunch of family specific matching fails errors on my install. I think this started after I tried to install the yukon 8e8001 driver found on this forum skge.kext. Can somebody give me an idea what could be wrong and maybe some tweaks I could make. I would really appreciate it as I'm a comple osx noob. Marvell Yukon 8001 - the driver

\Guys, I followed your direction down to the letter without any luck. I'm running a shuttle sn95g5 which has a yukon 8e8001 dev id 4320. I did this: open terminal sudo -s (password) cp -R (drag and drop the file and remove the / at the end) /System/Library/Extensions/ reboot and it didn't work and told me that the extension skge wasn't installed properly on boot up. I also got like 40 lines of errors when the system was booting up. Finally as I was installing my realtek ac97 I found instructions for that which went as follows: 1) copy AppleAC97Audio.kext to /System/Library/Extensions 2) cd /System/Library/Extensions 3) sudo chown -R root:wheel AppleAC97Audio.kext 4) sudo chmod 755 AppleAC97Audio.kext 5) Restart I took out the parts that said appleac97audio.kext and replaced with skge.kext and finally I have internet access. I did no run the part that says sudo chmod 755 appleac97audio.kext because I have no idea what that does. Should I run that line as well or no? I'm an extreme noob to apple software right now. Any help would be appreciated. Edit: Looks like I spoke too soon. Upon restart my internet wasn't working and I had to do the same commands to get internet access.
  12. I can confirm that this card works with 1.0.4.5.
  13. Guys so is the final answer to a marvell yukon phy 88e1111 a no as far as it working under osx??? If I try modifying the appleyukon.kext file do you think that would work? Thanx
  14. Guys, I've looked this card up on the wiki but only the c1 and f1 revisions are listed and nothing came up on the search for e1 revision. Has anybody else gotten this card to work. Would be for Myzar's 1.0.4.5 version. THX
  15. Guys, I'm an extreme OsX noob. Is there a way to output all the info that OsX lists when booting to a log file. Maybe a command line option before boot? Any help would be appreciated.
