Any news here? My OSX recognize the digital audio output, and if I play a movie which includes AC3 or DTS 5.1 audio from my hdd with an app like Plex or XBMC I get real digital surround sound. The problem is, if I want to play a DVD on the go with dvdplayer.app, it doesn't recognize the digital audio and doesn't let me change the audio output device in the settings. Is anybody here who knows how to tweak the settingsfile of dvdplayer.app to pass AC3 or DTS through the digital out?

Hallo, ich habe es geschafft Snow auf dem EP45-DS3 zu installieren. Als Anleitung habe ich mich an den Guide von "blackosx" gehalten: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=180954 Verwendet habe ich für 10.6 diese Dateien im /Extra Ordner auf der Chameleon-Partition EP45-DS3 install-pack Darin enthalten sind alle kexte, com.apple.boot.plist, smbios.plist und die dsdt.aml

So, einige Installationen später hab ich die Netzwerkkarte am laufen, allerdings nur mit 10Mbit... is zwar besser als nix, aber vielleicht hatte das ja schonmal jemand. Warum sie es erst garnicht tat und jetzt immerhin so, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen.

After I installed SnowLeo succsessfull, I plugged in my second hdd with Vista in my system again... Now I get, everytime i boot up, this message 4 times before I get into chameleon bootmenue: "EBIOS read error: Device timeout Block 0x0 Sectors 0" Any ideas? And if I choose to boot Vista, the green bootbar runs and runs for many minutes until I can login.

Yes, I'm sure. And if I set it manually at 100baseTX it doesn't work anymore... If I set it at 1000baseT it works, but the LED on my networkswitch tells me it is 10baseT because the LED is orange and not green

Hi, here are the news from my network: after a few reinstalls of the system now it seems that I've an working system without any additional kexts or an efi-string and my video and my network works too! BUT my network works only as 10baseT and it seems like bonjour doesn't work. I've used your install-package 2.2 and I think the latest boot-file from netkas' PCI-Efi solved my first problem with my network. Another failure is, if I want to wake up from sleep, he reboots... it seems like he doesn't sleep, he shut's off when have to go to sleep... do you know what I mean?

I don't have a field "Active Services", I only see on the right "Ethernet" To reboot my router or use a manual IP didn't change anything Stop! if I activate the serial-port in bios, then I get the "Active Services" field in the right, but I don't get an IP...

Hi, ich habe versucht SnowLeo nach dieser Anleitung für mein Mobo http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...=181133&hl= zu installieren. Mein Problem ist, dass meine Netzwerkkarte immer behauptet, dass kein Kabel eingesteckt wäre. Ich hab schon so ziemlich alle dsdt's ausprobiert, die ich finden konnte, da das selber patchen mit dem Acpi-patcher immer fehlgeschlagen ist... Ich hab's auch mit nem EFI-String in der boot.plist versucht und mit der RealtekR1000.kext... Gibts hier jemand der nach der gleichen Anleitung vorgegangen ist?

Hi @ all, I need help to get my network working... I've followed this great guide, thanks for it! I've installed the latest bios v11b, and I tried many dsdt's. To patch my own dsdt with acpi-patcher everytime failed, I don't know why... Now I use the latest dsdt postet in your dsdt-guide without video or ethernet. Video works with an efi-string in my boot.plist but my ethernet always says in system-prefs "No Cable plugged in" and it gets no IP from my dhcp and the use of a manual IP don't work too. I've tried a boot.plist with and without an efi-string for my lan an I've tried with and without RealtekR1000.kext in /Extra/Extensions/ but nothing works for me... what do I wrong?

OK, hab de Knoten gefunden... man kann den Extras/Extensions-Ordner nicht einfach im Finder nach Root kopieren... mit dem "Chameleon-DFE-for-hdd" klappts wunderbar

OK, mir kam die Idee, dass das Comboupdate auf 10.5.5 vielleicht garnicht für 10.5 geeignet ist, weil in den Vorraussetzungen 10.5.1 - 10.5.4 steht. Also hab ich 10.5 nochmal neu installiert, und erstmal das 10.5.4er Combo installiert, und siehe da, er bootet immer noch. Dann also das "kleine" 10.5.5er update runter geladen und installiert, reboot... Und er bleibt wieder beim mDNSResponder hängen!!

Hallo, Ich hab mit der Generic-132-CD gebootet und 10.5 mit der Retail-DVD installiert. Hat bis auf den Reboot nach der Installation perfekt funktioniert. Netzwerk wird zwar als RTL8169 erkannt, funktioniert aber. Grafik funktioniert nur mit 1024x768 und ohne sonstiges. Audio wird überhaupt nicht gefunden, und der AHCI-Controller ist "unknown". Booten mit der 132-CD ist kein Problem. Nach langem lesen hier und rumprobieren hab ich nun als erstes das Comboupdate auf 10.5.5 runtergeladen und dann von Hand installiert. Den automatischen Reboot muss ich durch ausschalten natürlich irgendwann beenden, weil den macht er ja nicht. So, wenn ich jetzt neu starten will, bleibt er beim grauen Ladebildschirm hängen, in der Console sind die 4 letzten Zeilen die er schreibt: "localhost /System/Library/CoreServices/loginwindow.app/Contents/MAppleRTL8169Ethernet: Ethernet address 00:1f:d0:8a:13:4c" "acOS/loginwindow[36]: Login Window Application Started" "localhost configd[47]: InterfaceNamer: no network interfaces, could not update platform UUID" "localhost mDNSResponder mDNSResponder-176.2 (Aug 15 2008 14:58:54)[35]: starting" Hat jemand ne Idee? Interessant ist vielleicht, dass ich mit "-x" in den "Abgesicherten Modus" hoch fahren kann... und von da funktioniert sogar das "ausschalten".
