  1. I'm using Asus GTX 460 on 10.6 with official NVIDIA driver and: in org.chameleon.Boot.plist. You don't need any special distro to install SnowLeo. Use retail disc and boot it using nawcom ModCD +: arch=i386 -force64 busratio=16 maxmem=4096 After install boot from the same CD to your SL, then install: 10.6.8 update, Chameleon 2.1svn-r1819, and nawcom legacy kernel 10.8.0 v2. You'll need some flags to get it booting correctly, probably: arch=i386 -force64 cpus=4 busratio=16 npci=0x2000 Also use amd_insn_patcher_V2 and patch some known binaries to avoid errors. And use VoodooTSCSync for your AMD to work correctly (sync TSC through all cores). If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
  2. Asus M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 AMD Phenom II 1090T X6 3.2 MAC OSX 10.6.8 Chameleon build 1819 AnV legacy kernel SnowLeo works fine, but when I shutdown computer and turn it ON again this time computer needs a minute to get over BIOS and there is no Ethernet either in Windows or Mac. After restart everything backs to normal. Do I need some kext or boot flag to fix this? Currently I'm using: arch=i386 cpus=6 -force64 busratio=16 std_dyld=yes npci=0x2000
  3. Here it is but it does NOT patch cpuids on the fly: http://www.insanelym...howtopic=265181 You'll probably need to add std_dyld=yes to kernel flags to get all programs working.
  4. 1822 does not work with my AMD/SnowLeopard. I'm getting KP with it. 1819 works perfect.
  5. When I go to About Mac > More Info, I get this: I'm not sure how this happened. Anyone knows how to fix it? If it's possible I would like to avoid full reinstall. Thanks. P.S.: I'm using OSX 10.6.8
  6. And the Lion for AMD?

No kernel available for AMD cpus. Man who worked on it has some serious health issues.
  7. Great, thanks. Should I use Xcode3.2 or Xcode4.0.1 versions? Sorry, I'm not sure what are differences between those.
  8. Sorry if this had been asked/answered before, but I want to know if newer versions from kexts.com are your releases or some fake builds? Chameleon 2.0 RC5 r1224 [VS] is available there atm. Thanks.
  9. Lion is Officially OUT!

OSX 10.7 Sources available too: http://www.opensource.apple.com/release/mac-os-x-107/ We need someone to patch kernel for AMD.
  10. Now we need someone to patch kernel for AMD. http://www.opensource.apple.com/release/mac-os-x-107/
  11. Native NTFS?

I would not play with fstab, as several people reported disk damages after this. It's disabled for a reason. Use Tuxera NTFS instead to enable NTFS read/write.
  12. Hi Andy, This one does not work with AMD, right?
  13. Chameleon v2.1 (Main Trunk)

I've installed it using Pacifist, then copied boot file from i386 to root. Is this ok? My Snow Leo boots fine and it says build755 at the top. Edit: Updated using iReset's installer, just in case. Thanks to both of you.
  14. Chameleon v2.1 (Main Trunk)

Installation freezes for me at "configuring installation". Any idea?
  15. GTX 460 and alc883 on 10.6.7 leohazard

I've found multiplier info for my CPU here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AMD_P...microprocessors Phenom II X6 1090T says "16". About flags: Removed arch=i386 = kernel panic Removed -force64 = kernel panic Removed both = kernel panic Added back arch=i386 -force64 = boot ok What can I do to boot without mentioned flags? Asus M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 (AMD's 890GX Chipset) AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Asus GTX-460 16 GB DDR3 1333 OSX 10.6.7 Chameleon build700 Legacy Kernel 10.7.0
