1. I am using a WIN 10 VMware 14 Workstation solution with Unlocker 2.1.1 and Mac OS Sierra as host image. I have a single 1820 x 1200 monitor. Graphics ist Standard Intel that comes with the mainboard HDMI and VDI Since the last windows and darvin update I face an unwanted situation that my Sierra image comes up with an unwanted resolution (scaled) 960 x 600 (HiDPI) which is activated by default and cannot be deactivated by switching to the standard monitor screen. The standard monitor screen still exists on 1920x1200 and it is possible to select it out of sierra setup. If you do that what happens then is that the screen swiches to 1920x1200 for one or two seconds, then switches back to 960x600 automatically. This situation is new and wasn't present on windows 10 without update and vmware 12 using the same image and the older darvin that was designed for the 12 version. I see from searches here that I am not the only one who faces this problem of a non deactivateable unwanted lower video resolution. Can you help me please?
2. I found a solution on item 2. Even though Apple's hard disk utility app doesn't show anything available on the created VM, you can execute the delete partition function which then modifies (initializes ?) the VM and after that the partition button changes from grey to black and a partition can be created. So I managed to install sierra including VMware tools. Item 1: Due to compatibility reasons I still need Mavericks for some special software. Question: Do I need an older darwin.iso version for Mavericks instead of the current one to install VMWare tools? Does the current version not support Mavericks any more?
3. Hi, I am stuck with installation problems after a reinstallation of windows 10 with a current version of VMWare Workstation 12.5.4 and Unlocker 2.0.8. I reinstalled the system that worked fine with an older version of VMware WS 12 and 2.0.7 unlocker. I am now trying to locate where the problems are. 1. I mainly worked on Mavericks. Installing a new Mavericks hangs at he point where I install the VMWare tools from the darwin iso. Running the VMware tools installer PKG (iso mounted as CD/DVD) doesn't give me a valid destination to install to. All destinations are grey. 2. Installing a fresh sierra from a created iso (app store 12.3 source) starts the installation and I can start the HardDisk Utility App that comes with osx, but unless to former installations the partition button is grey and the created VM volume is marked as not initalized. I cannot create my destination partition for the sierra operating system there. 3. Using older VMs, I see a changed behavoir accessing VMWare Shared folders. It seems to be that certain applictions cannot write data to the shared folders anymore. OwnCloud for example sais it cannot wirte into its .something files, if the drive is located on a shard folder. Thunderbird sais its already started if you export it's Profile folder to a shared location. Other folders such as Download linked to Shared with "ln -s" don't seem to make trouble. Can you help me with these topics so that I understand what I have to look for to get my system work again?

[Aiuto] Lion boot GA-Z68XP-UD4

do not use usb3 ports with usb3 stick!
Vom Rest also die Finger gelassen.
6. I bought lion from app store today which comes with 10.7.2 now. I have a gainward gtx 480 1.5gb. It comes up with the same problem, even with the latest ##### installation. If you got anything new on how to fix this, please tell me.
7. I have problems installing OSX Lion on a system (fresh installation) with the following hardware components: GA-Z68XP-UD4 Board, F4 Bios, Gainward GeForce 480 in pxi-x8 slot, OCZ SSD (on white Sata6 port), 16GB RAM, i7 2700k, Optimum defaults bios, changed AHCI on PCH GSATA ESATA, HPET to 64 bit, changed default vga to pcix8. I boot an USB 3 Stick from USB3, tested 2 installations so far: Tonymacosx86: Installation ends after can't load kext com.apple.driver.HDAC controller, waiting for root Kakewalk: Created the stick, replaced the DSTN.aml with the one of my board from Tony's database, changed GraphicsEnabler to No (didn't change a thing), installation hangs on [ PCI configuration begin ] Questions: Any BIOS settings I missed? Is sata6 okay during installation? Is the port okay? Is usb3 okay during installation? As I don't know how to get beyond this point, I would kindly ask the community for assistance on how to generate a working installation by either fixing one of these two mentioned above or starting over doing something completely differnet. Please tell me what to do (links welcome).
8. Does someone have a grub2 based multi-boot solution?
9. I accidently deleted important files and trashed them normally (non secure). These files were on a /home subfolder in an activated FileVault. How can I recover these files with UnErase tools or Pattern Seach tools under MacOS Leopard? What tools should I use? Or is there a way to open/mount and access the sparseimage files as loopbacks under linux? Please recommend possible ways to handle the recovery. Is it possible to redirect the mounted uncrypted (?) sparseimage on disk1s2 into some file using dd ? Would this represent the unencrypted /Users/(username) partition?
10. I installed OSX 10.5.6 on a MSI Wind U-100 using the generic.iso, oem dvd, combo update method. I installed various drivers for thernet, sentelic and video. In one of these procedures I must have crashed the shutdown, reboot and logoff functions from the main (apple) menu. This has some major consequeces: Selecting Softwareupdates that require reboot don't start either. Funny enough, using a terminal and entering sudo reboot works fine. I see no error messages in dmesg or log files when I press these pull downs. Can someone tell me what calls are normally made using these menu commands and where to look for to get things fixed? Thanks for your help.

Silicon Image 5723 support on osx ?

I just read another forum entry in efi-x.com. Are these http://www.siliconimage.com/support/search...=103&cat=24 drivers you can use with leopard or is this only an administration tool ?

Silicon Image 5723 support on osx ?

Thanks for your suggestion, but SAS stroage and controllers are NOT a good idea, as they blow my financial budget and the drives are 1 euro per Gigabyte. Anyway, I already have 10 500gb SATA 300 hard disks and a backplane system so I would like to use them. The only thing I don't know is how to get the necessary number of free SATA ports. Aren't there any cheap SATA 8-port controllers (such as marvell, 100 euro level) that work fine with leopard or controllers where working 3rd party drivers can be used? Any other recommendations? What about these Highpoint controllers? I heard some of them have native leopard support.
13. I replaced my old WIFI card in the WIND U-100 with Dell's 1510n card. Everything looked fine for me, I activated wireless on the keyboard, and rebootet my installed MSIwindosx86.iso. From the information presented by other users I found in this forum, this card should be automatically recognized under Leopard. But on the installed 10.5.4. and after changing the card, I had no WIFI recognized at all. I tried a reinstall the whole system using the leopard oem dvd / generic.iso method, but I am stuck in this "do you already have a mac?" loop. Did I do anything wrong? What would be the next useful step to get closer to to solution? Are there multiple versions of the Dell 1510n on the market where some of them may be unsupported? My 1510n card booklet shows a card with tree antenna connectors (black, grey, white from left o right), while my card has only two connectors labelled J1 and J2. This brings me to the idea there might me multiple versions of this card on the market. Is this right or wrong?
14. I want to replace my existing Wifi card in my msi wind u100 (ra2700e) with Dells 1510n card. Can someone tell me what frequencies the grey and the black antenna cables are for an how to connect the two cables on the two connectors labelled J2 (left) and J1 (right) of the 1510n card? Is J2 for the grey cable, J1 for the black or is it the other way round?
15. @ Metuas: Headphone "switch command" solution. See here: http://forums.msiwind.net/mac/news-headpho...orks-t4854.html
