  1. 9800 GTX working in OSX86

I've bought it 2 weeks ago on eBay, it works fine on Windows. I've tried with a fresh Leopard install, with 10.5, 10.5.2 and 10.5.3 beta kext and even with your 8800 GTX bios from your site, EFI strings or NVInject. Each time I've noticed the same issue...
  2. 9800 GTX working in OSX86

I've done additional tests and I identified more precisely the problem with my 8800 Ultra: when I scroll (vertically or horizontally) a picture in Photoshop (with the hand tool) or when I move the view up and down in Quake/Doom, I see a sort of horizontal blurry wave. The display is rendered correctly as soon as the scrolling stops. Do you have the same issue with the 9800 GTX ? If no, maybe I'll replace my GFX card or wait for 10.5.3. Thanks!
  3. 9800 GTX working in OSX86

Thanks for your answer, I was wondering as this test was working properly with my X1950XT. For Doom 3, it seems that the screen is split horizontally by the middle in 2 parts that are not synchronised, especially when you move quickly. I'll try with Quake Wars and let you know.
  4. 9800 GTX working in OSX86

Hello, Does the OpenGL 2.1 test of OpenGL Extension Viewer is rendered correctly with a 9800 GTX ? I have some issues with my 8800 Ultra, please have a look at my post: OpenGL 2.1 issue with 8800 Ultra Thanks!
  5. Hello, I'm using a MSI 8800 Ultra OC in my Hackintosh, recognized perfectly (with both NVinject and EFI strings): I can change change and I got hardware accelerated CI & QE. I ran OpenGL Extension Viewer and I noticed that the OpenGL 2.1 test is not rendered correctly (see the screenshot attached, the fractal animation on the surface of the cube is corrupted). This was perfectly working with my old X1950XT, and I think this explains some glitches I noticed in Doom 3. Does someone encountered the same problem and knows how to solve it ? I've tried everything: all versions of NVinject, EFI strings, fresh reinstall of Leopard (10.5.0 and 10.5.2, with and without graphic update), 10.5.3 beta kext, etc. My configuration: Leopard 10.5.2 (all updates done) with PC EFI 8, Gigabyte GA-X35-DS4, MSI 8800 Ultra OC. Thanks!
  6. Great Dense, finally I can get the SMART status and temperatures of my hard drives !
  7. Cannot enable netkas's speedstep on ToH

Hi, Same issue here with ToH RC2 & Asus P5B Deluxe with Netkas EFI loader. I get the same message when I try to manually load the kext. Cheers
  8. Working 10.4.9 update method for Intel SSE3

Wow it works perfectly with my P5B Deluxe + Sapphire Radeon 1950XT from JaS 10.4.8 after some tricks: - I had to remove extensions cache and repair disk permissions: sudo rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions.kextcache sudo rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions.mkext diskutil repairpermissions / - My video card had to be installed again (jccool installer). It was giving errors with some applications (VLC, Toast) Thanks bablefish !!
