  1. Marvell 88e8057 Kext

If anyone needs me to do anything on my end, I can do whatever.
  2. Marvell 88e8057 Kext

I am currently in the process of finishing up my install of 10.6 retail using Empire EFI on my EVGA P55 FTW, with a GTS 250. It has Dual Gigabit lan using the Marvell 88E8057 chipset. Right now I am using the Rosewill EasyN1 for internet access, but it is painfully slow since the wireless here sucks. Is there any way I can get this working? I've tried installing some other Marvell Kexts, but they didn't work. Any idea's?
  3. I added my system to the HCL for 10.5.2 here. If anyone wants to add/modify it they can, since its a wiki and all.
  4. Dell Studio 1535

Seems I messed up my install again. I tried updating to 10.5.5 with the directions here, http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=107340, and now it gets back to the screen with the spinning dots, and the dots never stop spinning(gee, that sounds smart) When I boot it with -v it gets to the part where it finds the boot drive, and then it just stops. I tried the movevideodrivers, but that didnt help.

    Thanks! That worked great.
  6. I recently dual booted Vista and Leopard, and now I would like to uninstall Leopard so I can have some space back. So would I: Extend my Vista partition over my OSX86 partition, and then insert the Vista disk to repair the boot config? do This or something else? Or if someone wants to direct me to a way to make your OSX partition smaller, then that would be great. Would I sue gparted?
  7. Which install method did you who got OSx86 to work on your Studio laptops use. In reference to my thread Here I couldnt get my install working. I tried kalyway, and am about to try iatkos. I would like to try to get osx86 working this laptop and help develop drivers or at least try the beta drivers.
  8. Dell Studio 1535

  9. Dell Studio 1535

I have the Dell Studio 1535 with the T8100 processor, 4gb of ram, and a HD3450 installed. It came with Vista home premium, and I downloaded and installed the Kalyway 10.5.2 iso. Setup and everything went, but when I try to boot into OSX, I get to the grey loading screen with the spinning dots and it freezes there. I have tried setting cpus=1 but that did not help. Any suggestions? I am downloading the iATKOS_4i image right now, and I am getting ready to try that. I got the boot-loader working correctly so I can get into Windows. How would I make Windows the primary/first boot option?
