  1. iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 wont boot

Same here. I found this posting (http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=137503&st=0&p=973109entry973109) where I posted the following: iDeneb v1.3 still not installing properly. Ran install without custom, as suggested. Tried booting with -s. Got to a black screen with the following: npvhas=4095 hi mem tramps at 0xffe00000 PAE enabled 64 bit mode enabled Darwin Kernel Version 9.5.0: Wed Sep 4 11:29:43 PDT 2008; root:xnu-1228.7.58~1/RELEASE_I386 standard timeslicing quantum is 10000 us vm_page_bootstrap: 974751 free pages and 73825 wired pages mig_table_max_displ = 79 Extension "com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPlatform" has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpi components; use only one style. Keyboard is unresponsive and I can do is boot again to the same thing. I have an Asus x83vm-x1 laptop (from BB): Intel Core 2 duo, centrino 2, 2.26 GHz, 4Gb Ram PC5300 DDR2, System Bus 1066, Graphics Card nvidia GeForce 9600M GS 1 GB GDDR3, Azalia audio chip, etc. (the rest can be found on http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...=1218012612475) I'd appreciate anyone's help. Thanks.

  3. I apologize for the newbie question, but I would like to know if someone has any recommendation for a new PC with hardware compatible with OSX 10.5.2. I had already checked the list of hardware compatible desktops (http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.5.2/Desktops) but was lost in the technical lingo. I would appreciate it if someone can give me some options for already built PC desktops (no needs to change any specs other than maybe add ROM) at no more than $1000. Links to product web pages would be great. Thanks.
