Optiplex 755 10.8.2 Only safe mode! Plz help.

I couldn't find a DSDT for my system. Thanks for all the repsonses. I will try them when I get home this evening. Ill post back with the results!
  2. To start things off, this is definitely not my first hackintosh. I have a SFF Optiplex 755. Core2Quad Geforce GT610. I have used the iatkos ML2 installer this time. Installed starts fine using no flags. It finishes completely. Upon reboot I get the following attached screen. With the -x flag everything boots fine and the system works at full resolution and looks great. Without the -x no go. I have tried all the other normal flags. Any suggestions?

    Can not boot into windows

I am very sure. But I have never pressed any key to see boot options. That is probably the problem. I will check now! Thank you. So I restarted and I dont even get the option for the darwin boot loader. It just goes straight to starting OS X. I know I did not delete the entire drive. I can see it still in Mac OS. Is there a way to enable the boot loader?

    Can not boot into windows

Ok. So I installed 10.4.5 onto my Dell 9200. Everything worked except I could not get the video card to load properly with the kext. I downgraded to 10.4.3 and it finds it find. Everything works in OS X perfectly. The only problem is after install I no longer get my boot options. It boots directly into Mac OS? I was not sure what steps to take in reinstalling Mac OS, so I think I missed a step somewhere. Is there a way to fix this problem? Please let me know. Thank You Nick

    Broadcom 440X on Dell 9200

There was a post somewhere on this forum, talking about how when you shutdown windows XP it writes some info to the card and makes it so it will not turn on at boot, or something like that. What I did to fix this was to make my boot options (in the bios) want to boot to the network first. That way the card is always on when I load Mac OS. Also, I am running native.

    Broadcom 440X on Dell 9200

Problem solved! It was due to the thing that XP writes to the card, so it turns off or something like that. It works great! I am so happy about this whole OS X and XP and the laptop!

    Broadcom 440X on Dell 9200

I have a dual boot system with windows XP and Mac OS X 10.4.5 fully operational on my Dell 9200, except for the fact I can not get my broadcom 440x network card to even be found. I searched the forums and found that I need to overwrite the IONetworkingFamily.kext from the one from 10.4.3, but this did not help. Am I missing a step with adding the .kext? Please let me know what I can do, if I can do anything. Thank You
