    Kext patches by Bootloader

Im also having the same question can a kextpatcher.kext be made that it would be responsible to patch others kexts on boot like clover ? I use ozmosis as a bootloader and having such a kext would be ideal

As already The King said if you look at quo dsdt you will find numerous cases where "if OSDW" statements are used. I would also have to agree that making a dsdt that can be flashed to any board even with same chipset is not very safe. With my limited acpi knowledge and from what i discovered the last days the best approach (and again not entirely failsafe) is to try to correct dsdt by removing references to non existing devices and rearrange scopes and devices so thinks are more clear. Even renaming devices is something that would potentially "kill" your bios cross-platform capabilities so imagine what a complete replace with a dsdt from another system can do. Also have in mind that other acpi tables are using references to dsdt or ssdt's i think RSDT or XSDT has info of all acpi tables something like an index.

I think it would be better to use quo dsdt along with one from a real mac as "templates".I ve also started something similar. First i applied part of pjalm patch to correct compilation errors and i relocate scopes and devices to fit the structure of quo and a mac mini 6,2 dsdt. Second apply some of pjalm's patches from his gigabyte repo manually and combine them with quo's logic in order to have a more generic dsdt that can also be used on windows. Also pay attention to device renames cause as already mentioned some of them must not be renamed for windows compatibility see how quo is naming them.also as fred pointed in z77 ds3h sat0 is referenced in ssdt so its not a good idea to rename it to sata in dsdt or if you do you must also rename it in ssdt. Im also a noob in dsdt but this is how i did it.someone with better knowledge please advice. My biggest problem is how to track non existing devices in dsdt and delete them. For instance i know from Fred that Glan and sat01 devices does not exist in z77ds3h but i think there others but how can we find them? A liitle update:as i googled about how to identify non existing devices in dsdt i found this http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?s=&showtopic=924&view=findpost&p=4986 In post 21 laqk explains how to track missing devices and furthermore how to track existing devices not present in dsdt that will help.
