  1. GMA950 desktop (0x2772) and Sleep Mode problems. Connection?

Er, perhaps I wasn't clear, sorry. A direct link to the driver pack for devid 0x2772 can be found here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act...st&id=34478 It's the 3rd post in the link on my sig. Sorry if it was confusing. Also, I've more or less concluded that the problem exists in my shoddy discount motherboard. Thanks for the help tho, supermx3.
  2. SSE2 emu for SSE-only cpus?

Ha, wow. I think they pulled it out of framewave (AKA: the AMD Performance Library). I remember while I was working there the devs had to write a bunch of SSE3->SSE2 code to make the library work on Opterons. That's a blast from the past, man. Cool to see they released it as freeware.
  3. GMA950 desktop (0x2772) and Sleep Mode problems. Connection?

Hey, sorry this is super late; I didn't see someone had replied to this post. I updated my sig with links to all of the drivers I'm using. Hope it helps!
  4. Modded ALC662 & Sigmatel 9223 with codec verbs

Got auto detection working for me; thanks!!
  5. Version 1.4.5 beta out now

The module failed to load on my machine. Confirmed the same behavior in both xnu-dev's most recent beta (2c) and Vanilla 9.5. Attached is the dump generated by the Vanilla kernel. Vitals in the sig. Thanks again for your great work on this project! Edit: add sysctl dump
  6. Modded ALC662 & Sigmatel 9223 with codec verbs

Hey guys: awesome work! Using the kext in #12, I can confirm the front headphone jack works as expected, as do the output jacks in the back. No mic front, no auto-detect, as expected. Attached is a copy of my 662 dump, in case it'll help at all. Thanks again! alc_662_dump.txt
  7. Hey all; apologies upfront if this is a repost. I've been banging my head against this sleep mode problem for a while now and I'm pretty close to throwing in the towel. I've got the typical problems with sleep mode: you put it into sleep mode, it goes to sleep fine. You attempt to wake it, however, it just sits there. What strikes me as curious, though, is the video BIOS tagline that shows while the system struggles to revive itself. I've heard other people talk about problems with the GMS950s and sleep mode; just curious to see if anyone else had conquered this beast. Thoughts? For the record, here's the system I'm using: Proc: Intel E1400 (2Ghz) Mem: 1GM 667Mhz MoBo: Abit i45-CV (945GC/ICH7 chipset) Install: iAtkos 4i updated to 10.5.5 Kernel: 9.5.0 Vanilla w/ superhai speedstep 950 Driver: 10.5.5 stock using this technique Thanks! edit: add kernel info :x
  8. GMA950 in 10.5.4 and 10.5.5

This pack fixed me right up. Saved my butt; thanks man.
  9. Support is phenomenal

Just a bump to second this notion. You guys got me on my feet in 48 hours. The only thing missing is sleep mode, and on a desktop I'm willing to accept that. This community is pretty amazing. Thanks again for everything! - Con
  10. Users with GMA 950 / X3100 Real Macs needed here

Worked like a charm. Thanks, man.
