  1. Need Guide/Help in Updating to 10.6.3

Hey, Thanks for your help! I need to specifically update to 10.6.3 so I'll install the 10.6.3 legacy kernel I found here. A quick question: how can I install a kernel before the restart after the update? Also, is there anything I need to remove, such as sleepenabler or IntelCPUPowerManagement? How would I go about doing this? Thanks!
  2. Need Guide/Help in Updating to 10.6.3

Here's my specs: Mobo: Biostar MCP6P M2+ Processor: AMD x2 (Turion I think) 2.7 Ghz Generic DVD Drive 450W PSU ATI Sapphire HD4830 512MB 2x2GB Ram 500GB HD I think that should be sufficient. Any ideas?
  3. Need Guide/Help in Updating to 10.6.3

Anyone? Help would be much appreciated.
  4. Hey, The reason why I need to update to 10.6.3 is someone has found a working solution for my graphics card. I attempted update myself yesterday, but totally bricked my installation. I use the Hazard disc to install, to I can update from a 10.6.0-10.6.2 install, which ever you think is easiest to update from. I just have no clue how to do this (thus this post in the "New Users Lounge") I was wondering if someone could guide my along, or reffer me to a working guide to update to 10.6.3. Thanks, Bob
  5. Need accel.tar.bz2 download!

Hey I was in the process of installing drivers for my ATI HD4830, using the guide here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...477&hl=4830 I wanted to download the required files but it seems Rapidshare.de removed accel.tar.bz2 from its servers. Could someone please re-upload this file, or send it to me by email. You can get my email through PM. Another option is to use another guide. Does someone else know a succesful way of installing drivers for the ATI HD4830? Thanks!
  6. Hey Insanelymac, You guys have been a great help and resource in the past so I though I'd come to you with my issue. When I boot up for the first time, after installing the Hazard Snow Leo distro, I get a kernel panic. Note: I checked the 10.6.2 combo update in the install. I have a feeling that it has to do with the SleepEnabler.kext , but I'm not 100% sure. If you need any more info, please feel free to ask! Thanks!
