  1. Hi MaLd0n, not sure if this is still how it's done but here goes. I installed High Sierra as per instructions but I am currently using a config.plist from a board that's not mine. The config is for an ASUS Z170 Pro but I got the Z170 Pro gaming with a I-6600k and an older NVIDIA GTX 660. As far as I can tell everything works except for the USB 3 in the back which only recognizes my external HDD after it went to sleep and woke up again. I also have some strange graphical artifacts every so often when I open a new app window. Anyway, here's the files from your RunMe app. SendMe Pack Thanks!
  2. [GUIDE] 1st Generation Intel HD Graphics QE/CI

Yup, same thing happens here. I panicked at first but OSX starts pretty much like normal and everything works.
  3. [GUIDE] 1st Generation Intel HD Graphics QE/CI

Good to know. And thanks so much for all your hard work. My laptop wouldn't run OSX so nicely f it wasn't for you.
  4. [GUIDE] 1st Generation Intel HD Graphics QE/CI

I tried all kinds of combinations but always had to remove the AppleIntelHDGraphics.kext to be able to boot. It didn't work until I followed enjiner's method. Dunno why :S And yes, I am on 10.8.3, installed via myhack.

This did the trick, I am one very happy camper tonight!!
  6. AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB fixed (SL 10.6.8)

Thank you @enjiner!! your plist edit FINALLY did the trick for me, too! I used the kexts from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/286092-guide-1st-generation-intel-hd-graphics-qeci/?do=findComment&comment=1885544, including the GraphicsFB one and edited THAT plist according to the stuff that enjiner provided. Installed it all via Kext Wizard, did a cache clean/kext rebuild and voila, it works So awesome because my lil' Lenovo is the perfect MacBook size! So thanks to everyone for their darn hard work and experimenting, you guys made my week. Or heck my year, lol!
  7. [GUIDE] 1st Generation Intel HD Graphics QE/CI

Gah, I am ready to toss the towel here. I got a Lenovo IdeaPad z360 with a HD5700/Nvidia 310m combo. All the kexts work fine - except for the AppleIntelHDGraphics.kext. As soon as I add it to the mix the installation won't boot. The FB kext works like a charm, giving the proper resolution and all but there's no QE/CI due to the one non-working kext. Any ideas?
  8. [GUIDE] 1st Generation Intel HD Graphics QE/CI

Wow, I am soooo happy to have come back here and find this. Absolutely amazing. My Lenovo and I thank all of those involved for their awesome work in making this possible to all of us Intel HD laptop owners. Great, great job! Thanks again!!
  9. intel hd graphics cards success 10.8

Gruss, Lance
  10. intel hd graphics cards success 10.8

Gruss, Lance
  11. Fixed no kext load issue

adding in my two cents since I spent the last two days reading through various threads about the Intel GMA 5700 which so happens to be my card as well. Laptop is the Lenovo z360 with Intel 5700/Nvidia 310m Optimus combo. Manor's method works in so far that the card is recognized which is progress. Also if I connect an external monitor I have no problems getting the correct resolution. I have tracked this down due to the Rev ID. There seem to be two floating around. Mine is x0012 and from what I've seen on Manor's screenshots and one or two others that are lucky with the right resolution and all they have Rev ID x0002. I am no expert at this, I do rely on people way smarter than me to figure this out so I have no idea what exactly those number mean or do but they are the only difference I could find in all the posts. Cheers!

  13. @kdtt what graphics are you using? I got the system up and running as well except for a proper graphics driver. I got a NVIDIA GTS 250 but I am still kinda experimenting to get a dual boot with Tiger and Snow Leopard. Update: Got the dual boot working, plus the proper graphics resolution under Tiger even though my card is not fully recognized. I installed a DSDT under Snow Leopard which may have done the trick for the resolution at least.
  14. Thanks so much!! You saved my day. I followed your instructions and Linux finally showed up in Chameleon. Very cool!
