1. You Welcome. i am really glad that my guide helped you because i do too understand the frustration of getting working OS.
2. Hello to everyone, I just wanted to tell you about my success installing 10.6.0 Retial and then Update it to 10.6.7 without much Problems on my GA-P35-DS3L. What do you need? Snow Leopard 10.6 Retial Snow Leopard 10.6.7 COMBO EasyEFI or ##### (should make your like easier if you want to use DOK instead of a disc) ##### KextHelper (or any other application you know that can install kexts) Pack of Kexts (fixing the network, sound and sleep) Kexts_for_GA_P35_DS3L.zip How To Install? FIrst of all you need to have blank Hard Disk in GUID format of course and load up snow leopard retial installation in any way you prefer. I used EasyEFI disc and then load up the installation via DOK. In the end of the installation i got for some reason failure that saying it couldn't install completely the OS. However when i did a boot from the Hard disk all goes well without any problems except for the bios configuration that we will fix later on. We almost finished, we have a few more steps. After the snow leopard loads completely you need to open a few windows without proceeding the wizard: ##### package KextHelper (or any other similar application) Window of Finder with the kests that should fix the sound network and sleep. Snow leopard 10.6.7 COMBO Now all you need to do is start installing Snow leopard 10.6.7 COMBO but after it finishes the installation Don't click on Restart button. Now after the installation complete go to ##### package window and check these boxes: IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector ElliottforceLegacyRTC EvOreboot fakeSMC NullCPUPowerManagement (if you are having mouse lags) Chameleon 2.0 RC5 Prerelease and you can use any theme you like Proceed until it completes. Now for the last part. Open KextHelper and drag all the kexts from the finder window to it, and begin the installation. Now all you need to do is to restart your computer and if you still having the bios configuration problem just restart again and everything will be OK. Finally you have everything works flawlessly: sound network sleep (awakes with the power button though) except the Graphic card that you need to figure out by yourself what is the best way for you. Hope you all enjoyed this Guide.
3. Hello to everyone, I installed SL recently and i have managed to get everything work great, even my graphic card, Geforce 9800gt 512mb, that it took me some time to figure out how to recognize it with the system. However, i experienced some lags with my mouse that jumps over and even there is a slit different when i move from one space to another, i don't know how to describe it but it just don't move in the way it should (smoothly). just to be clear i do have full graphic support. Thank you in advance.
4. thank you! well i got the waves you talked about. i am hopping that it is full QE/CI. thanks again.
5. hello, I have geforce 9800 gt 512mb with SL. i need to know how can i be sure that my geforce is running with full QE/CI on SL.
6. Hello to everyone, After more than 5 hours that i spent on installing snow leopard on my PC i finally succeeded to run snow leopard with no panics or error and even my network and audio works. However, i have Radeon 3650 HD as my graphic card and from what i understood it doesn't has full support on snow. Is there any hope for this card to be supported or should i just buy other graphic card? Thank you all!
7. I found my problem! I needed to delete ATIRadeonX2000.kext and thats it!
8. Hello to everyone, I followed this guide that explains how to install snow leopard on a pc using DOK. http://www.teknojunkie.com/2009/09/snow-le...sb-boot-method/ everything went really well except that when the installation menu should showed up my screen goes black and the computer stops thinking. first i thought that maybe it stucks but it didn't get any errors on verbous mode so it was really strange. after a while in a mistake i found out that if i'm moving my mouse freely i got some reaction from my screen and it gets some little dots all over it. my assumption is that this problem is related to my video card, but i don't know really what to do, and that is why i am asking for your guys help. I am hopping that there is still hope for me.
9. I solved my problem. i found out that my problem was in my DOK. my DOK make my USB ports malfunction and after 10 minutes it died. so now all my other USB works great.
10. Hi to everyone, I recently update my ideneb 10.5.4 to 10.5.6 and fix my USB with the kexts in here;cd=3&gl=us or that just what i thought it did. if i take usb out and then in, it won't recognize again. However it does recognize in profiler. my USB only work in these conditions: 1. install over again the kexts and the disk on key has to be in. 2. restart my computer and DOK has to be in. 3. I clean my cache by using Maintenance app. so as you can see my USB ports don't really work as the should be. I am hopping someone has solution for me. TNX in advance.
11. I prefer to try this one first. but how can i know which one?
12. Hello to everyone, I am asking this for my friend so its not for me. My friend tried to install Leopard on his laptop but he gets all the time no matter what he does "still waiting for root device" problem. However, he tried to install Tiger on his laptop and it seems to be running ok with no problems at all. so after thinking i think his problem can be found in the kexts for his HD. so my question is, how can i know which kexts are the ones he needs to copy into Leopard installation? TNX in advance.
13. hello to everyone, If my Terminal says on every line that i enter "Access Denied" what does it mean, and how can i solved it? by the way its a fresh installation.
