  1. Works great from my experience. Played a bunch of multiplayer games, no issues here.
  2. Thanks for your help! Hopefully it helps those interested in the service!
  3. The NVIDIA GeForce Now service provides the High-End Windows PC which is equipped with 1080s. There's a free beta you can sign up for here: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/products/geforce-now/mac-pc/
  4. I've been interested in streaming games services since 2010 with OnLive, which was also available for Mac, but since it's closure there hasn't really been an alternative. Enter NVIDIA GeForce Now, a new cloud gaming service that allows you to play games from your Steam and Battle.net libraries. I personally really enjoy what NVIDIA GeForce Now is bringing to the table. Providing a means to play the games I already own and can purchase from Steam and Battle.net is what cloud gaming should be. They have a list of supported games, but you can easily install and run any unsupported game you own in Steam and Battle.net, and I would fully expect big titles like Destiny 2 to be officially supported as well. NVIDIA GeForce Now doesn't use any of your local hardware, and instead streams the game to you from a remote Windows PC provided by the service that is running high-end NVIDIA GPUs and Hardware, providing a very smooth and enjoyable gaming experience. You can sign-up for beta here: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/products/geforce-now/mac-pc/ You can also see an in-depth look at NVIDIA GeForce Now below, where I try out Overwatch, Warframe, and the new Dark and Light. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3NUhiYDtcI
  5. I'm not even sure where to find it Here to Help, guess I could look through your website and figure it out.
  6. Well thanks! But, actually all of my stuff is working flawlessly. I have no issues, everything works including FaceTime and iCloud, not sure what else I really should test to make sure it all works haha. Sleeping and waking works as well, and the system boots insanely fast. Edit: Also my 16GBs of RAM is running perfectly at 2133MHz.
  7. Well I installed VoodooTSCSync.kext with Kext Beast and it worked flawlessly! I now load up without any tags and it's flawless 100%!!! WOOOOOOOOO!!! Thanks so much for the help everyone! I'll post some benchmarks and such in a bit.
  8. Is there a particular way I should install this kext? Do you recommend a certain place for me to get it from? Thanks!
  9. Alrighty thought I would post an update here! I've managed to get 1.8.0 Mountain Lion flawlessly installed on my hardware, just following the setups in this guide. My only issue now is my CPU doesn't seem to want to function well. I can only boot with -v otherwise it locks up at the apple logo screen, and when I do get in then its extremely slow and choppy unless I also boot with cpus=1. I would like my CPU to function like normal, and really thats the only issue I have. Everything else works and performs flawlessly! Thanks so much for the guide, and any assistance in getting the CPU working better would be great. Thanks!
  10. Well thank you very much for your help! I'll try these steps over the weekend and if I have any questions I'll try to look into it more before taking up more of your time. Its very much appreciated and hopefully I can get all this working. Thanks again!
  11. Well after I install Mac I won't have access to my Mac VM since its through VMWare. Will that be a problem or will these steps work okay without a working Mac?
  12. I have no intention of pirating a copy of Mac, I am hoping to do development on the OS and pirating isn't something I support if thats what you're implying. But I do have a VM with Lion on it right now that will allow me to download Mountain Lion. What should I follow to get Mountain Lion installed on my system once the app is downloaded?
  13. Thank you for the reply! So does that mean I need purchase a Mountain Lion USB Key? Once I have that will a usual guide work?
  14. Greetings InsanelyMac Community, I'm very interested in creating a Hackintosh out of my new computer, mainly for production purposes and because the MacOS platform is the middle ground between Linux (which I'm very familiar with) and Windows (which I'm not very fond of). I have purchased a Lion USB Key from Apple and have tried a few install methods I've found on these forums and Tonymacx86 though nothing has really worked. I haven't beenable to even load into the install program for Lion, so I'm not really sure what the best method of getting Lion and ultimately Mountain Lion are for my system. System Specs Biostar TPower X79 Motherboard Intel Core i7 3820 Sandy-Bridge CPU SanDisk Extreme 120 GB SSD WD Caviar Black 1TB HDD G.Skill Ripjaws Z Series 16GB 2133MHz RAM EVGA GeForce 670 GTX GPU I don't even know if its possible, but any help or guides would be fantastic. I don't know much about DSDT editing and specific hardware kexts, but thank you in advanced for your help!
