  1. Hi I have the same problem. Any way to resolve it?
  2. HI, Here you go http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/index.p...=&memSize=0 I used the ATI firmware and atiflash to flash it. Good luck!
  3. Just wanted to post my success Chipset Model: ATI Radeon HD 2400 Type: Display Bus: PCIe PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 256 MB Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x94c3 Revision ID: 0x0000 ROM Revision: 113-B1480A-236 EFI Driver Version: 01.00.236 Displays: DELL 1907FP: Resolution: 1280 x 1024 @ 75 Hz Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Hardware Accelerated Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Supported Rotation: Supported My video card is a Radeon HD 2400 XT (DEV_ID 94C1) with the core@650MHz and memory@500MHZ. I could not make it work so I flashed the card firmware to a Radeon HD 2400 PRO (DEV_ID 94C3) slightly underclocked - the core@525MHz and the mem@400MHz - but I don't complain, everything works fine. I tested the new firmware with some OpenGL demo - i go down from ~15FPS to ~12FPS that's ok, my main issue would be that the fan speed in the new firmware is set at 32% so it's a little noisy. The temperature is really OK since it's slightly underclocked and the fan blows much faster (initially was 13%IDLE, 19% full load, now set at 32%). So for those with not-working HD2400 (and with different ID's like 94C1) you can try to flash your card's firmware with the PRO one (beware this is dangerous!). Any ideas how to reduce the fan speed? Or how to make it work with 94C1 ? (Natit will not recognize the card when I have the original firmware).
  4. Haven't tried yet.... but i guess this is just like the other cases:NavigationController - have to programatically initWithRootController (you cannot wire the root viewcontroller yourself...)TableView - have to programatically initWithFrame or else the table view will not update and you will end up with all cells selected (visually only)I think you need only to init the tabbar (if you linkit in IB of course).Of course, I may be wrong :-) If you really want to use the xcode debugging console, use the plain old: printf ("%s\n", [yourNSString UTF8Sttring]); M.
  5. Yes that was the thing :-) I had to look for myself and I implemented in one example ... here it is :-) Recipes.zip By the way ... DID ANYONE DID A TABLEVIEW FROM IB ?! Am I the only one that cannot use a tableview from IB ? (In my example I reinitialize the tableviews in my code to make them work...) Cheers, M.
  6. I am doing that in "viewWillAppear". I actually NSLog the cell text, and the logged text is the right one, just the one displayed is wrong. Also, when I go back to my table view after a Disclosure View, my selection remains selected. So I guess that the table is not "repainted". I tried using the redraw context property, no dice. Anyone have a DrillDownApp where the GUI (and tableviews) are created with IB ? Thanks, M. PS: anyone tried changing a button type from RoundRect to, let's say, a DONE button ? I get a compile error for any button except RoundRect.
  7. Anyone made a UITableView in IB working? In my examples the view will not get "updated" after some other view was on the screen.
  8. In IB label properties you have clear context before drawing.
  9. Here is a semi-working example with controllers. You have one nav controller and two view controllers in there. For some reason, the table views are not updated -- you can see that for soups you have 4 rows and for desserts there are 6 rows, but the first 4 are taken up by the soups. Also, when going back, the row stays selected. If anyone finds out what's wrong in the example, pls tell :-) Cheers, M Receipes_v.table.zip
  10. Here is the first HelloWorld working example (with events). I resolved the issue with the label text not showing up properly. HelloWorld.zip
  11. OK I have made it work guys .. The problem was the controller.... Basically, drop a view into the window, make it of custom class MyView, where MyView : UIView (!) and add there the outlets and actions. Connect the button and label and now it will work. The only way i could make something work was to add a view to the window and customize that view. Separate controllers are not made instances, i dunno why. I still have some problems though: 1) I do this action for button pressed: x ++; [label setText: [NSString stringWithFormat: @"Button pressed %i times", x]]; The thing is that for each press the text overwrites the previous text, as in words are written over the old ones -- i have tried a setText:@"" and then set the text, same result. Is there some kind of repaint or somthing? I tried reload, reloadData but it will result in a crash. 2) After i finished with a view, how do i get rid of it ? I mean dealloc ? eg look at this button action: x++; if (x%2 == 0) { [label removeFromSuperview]; } else { [label setText: [NSString stringWithFormat: @"Button pressed %i times", x]]; } I was expecting first click to make the label show "Button pressed 1 times", second click to dealloc button, 3rd click to crash. However, 3rd click will show "Button pressed 3 times" overwrite over "Button pressed 1 times" :-) For those who did not understand what i mean by overwrite, there will be a "3" over "1" so u get a kinda of "$" instead of the number. Any thoughts ? Cheers, M.
  12. I'm trying a simple example - I just put up a label and a button, modify MyView to extend NSObject and added an action "changeText:" and an outlet "label". Added an object controller in IB, change class to MyView, connected outlet label to my label and the event "Touch Up Inside" (also tried all the other events) with the action changeText. The action basically does a printf and [label setText: @"It works"]; I cannot run it, the sim crashes when i push the button. Any ideas why ? The problem definitely is not from the action code (i tried with no code ), but from the connection. Did i do something wrong ? Thx, M
