  1. Could anyone who has a working build please chime in on their bios versions that they are using? I'm trying to decide which one to update with but think im going to run with A07. im running A00 so hopefully that is my problem.
  2. Hey everyone. I recently got Mountain Lion going on a T5400 dual proc machine, so thought I'd try my luck on a Precision 690. Much harder! I have a Zotac GTX 660 which I know works in the T5400. I disabled PATA in the bios and using S3 power save mode. I was hoping to go the myHack way with 10.8 but I get a black screen after the kexts load with nothing. This is using -f -v UseKernelCache=No and tried PCIRootUID=0 and 1 I tried using iAtkos 10.8.2, but i get a kernel panic on install after kexts are loaded. Heres a video I recorded- using- -f -v UseKernelCache=No Thanks for any tips or pointers that might send me on the right path!
  3. I'm having the exact same problem with Lion on a Dell T5400 using MyHack. I tried the method Jermaine151 used but it did not work for me. I have permanently set in my boot.plist file UseKernelCache=No but I don't think its the right kind of solution to keep.

    Post your STUDIO SETUP.

I've got a video of my setup, still trying to improve latency because I know i've goten it sub 100 samples when i was playing with osx86 a few years ago. at the moment i get about 130 samples in ableton live @ 44.1k. i only just set this up so go easy on me for using the live demo track. cintiq 21UX dell 24" display Fireface 800 Intel Badaxe 2 mobo, iPC 10.5.6 with- nvdarwin voodoo seatbelt intelichx vx5 keyboard Lemur Monome Macbook 2.4ghz core 2 duo Genelec 8030 monitors.
  5. i have a fireface 800 with a badaxe 2 as well on iPC installation 10.5.6 with about 128 samples at 44.1khz in ableton live would you be able to document your setup, and latencies in ableton if you happen to be using it? im thinking of buying something else to get lower latency, but not sure what is working best in leopard.
  6. im trying to fix my darwin bootloader with my kalyway 10.5.2 installation (restored from image). could you point me out to any guides that show me how to recover this?
  7. i have had a dual boot xp/osx 10.5.2 setup working with mbr in the past. now i have a new addition with a 2tb drive, and i only want to make a single boot system now. i can't seem to find any guides for my mobo that do this (instead of dual boot), preferebly with GPT instead of mbr. parts- 2tb seagate (1x100gb partition, 1x 1.7TB partition, both GPT) Intel d975xbx2kr geforce 8800gts 512 mb. install with - kalyway leopard make hd bootable kalyway 10.5.2 problem 1- I am using the "kalyway leopard make hd bootable" to erase the drive using the disk utility but it doesn't comence properly, it just hangs there. is that because it doesn't like GPT perhaps? i seem to be able to be able to ignore this problem, and install over the old installation ok (but this isn't a good situation for the future). problem 2- after installing kalyway 10.5.2 if i try to boot, i get "ntldr is missing" and cannot boot. however i can get the system to boot if i put the kalyway disk in the drive. how can i fix this ntldr issue? is this a GPT issue too? on my other drive if i use MBR, i dont get this issue. Thanks for any nudges in the right direction.
