  2. Presently, I've got a AppleTV and G4 Mini and NAS and I'd like to replace this setup with one central cpu. I've outgrown the NAS, so the first objective is to be able to support at least 4 hard disks in addition to the DVD (which as I understand must be sata for 10.5). I'm looking for a motherboard with the following specs: 10.5 compatible 6 SATA ports (can be through pci expansion, but prefer onboard) Fully supported onboard digital audio (5.1 some form of spdif/coax/optical) Firewire onboard two working ethernet onboard ports Onboard video: Must be HDTV compatible (HDMI or DVI - 720p or 1080i/p resolution) If this is not an option I'm looking for a QE, CG compatible low profile (cheap) video card. Preferable: ESATA onboard port IR receiver Bluetooth MATX form factor (smaller) I dont mind patching to get this all to work, and it doesnt really need to sleep (will be a server / nas). If it can be built easily and cheaply I'll probably end up with one for every room of the house. Budget: shooting for under $200 for the motherboard and vid card. thanks for any help you can give, SEE NEXT POST FOR MY RESEARCH SO FAR. -an
  3. Has anyone found a four port (or more) PCI (not PCI-X, PCIexpress) card that works? I'm on an intel board running 10.4.7 and just need more ports! -anon
