  1. Anyone having same issue? After update to 10.6.4, NAS based Time Machine Backup failed. Tried starting from scratch as well but Time Machine try to create a new SPARBUNDLE file and failed. Time Machine backup using USB HDD still works without issue.
  2. Seems to do more than that... update to 10.6.4 breaks my Time Machine Backups now can't even backup with new SPARSEBUNDLE disks.
  3. I am running single 250GB IDE Drive for OSX. No slowness experience for both read/write.
  4. Got the Driver from [GUIDE] Retail Snow Leopard Install on Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 (Core i7) Mobo http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=185097 Credit goes to digital_dreamer. I reckon Gigabyte used the same JMicro386 chipset for most of their motherboard
  5. I am running SL using onboard IDE, I am using this JMicronATA.kext in /Extra/Extensions. Let us know if it worked for you. JMicronATA.kext.zip
  6. Cool. I think for native AppleIntelCPUMangagement to work require a bit of hacking DSDT. Let us know how you get on with ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin.
  7. I am using Acer Revo R3610 Linus Base model. Atom 330, 2GB RAM (added extra 1Gb) Nvidia ION chipset (GeForce 9400M) You are right, I managed to get rid of NullCPUPowerManagment.kext Now need to check CPU temperature to see if it runs cool. Update: After getting native AppleIntelCPUManagment working, sleep works (video+nic+sound wake without problem)! Portions of my boot logs... 8. Happy to report, IT WORKED!! CPU reported as Intel Core 2 Duo (About this Mac) Darwin Kernel Version 10.2.0: Tue Nov 3 10:35:19 PST 2009; root:xnu-1486.2.11~1/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64 Hyperthreading work too. So now Activity Monitor shows 4 X CPU Nice!. Great work! Now have to test if speedstep + sleep works! Let's see what others reports. Thanks again!
  9. Thanks shoarthing for replying & Teateam for producing the patch. I am at work at the moment will try this evening, some others may reply before I do.
  10. Any chance of patching for x86_64?
  11. I have crash with this card when there is >4GB on previous version of BIOS
  12. I have 8GB RAM, ran memtest in SL both 32bit/64bit kernel. Memalloc stop at 3506! Good news is SL doesn't crash like in Leopard. In Leopard, memtest will need the machine to be reset. SL allows the memtest to complete without crashing. BTW I am testing this on PCIe GeForce 9500 GT. E7AUM-DS2H - Working well

Same here attached a PATA and got a KP before getting to desktop. I redo a DSDT patch to get rid of the CMOS reset problem. Now I have sound working (dsdt patch base on patch bios) + old leopard AppleHDA. Video wise, I have used a 9500GT instead of onboard (have revert to orginal bios without patch) working also EFI string. Sleep is ok but when wake no video on screen although machine have woke up. At least got a working machine running on 4GB RAM (not extensively tested), 8GB RAM with external GFX also result KP. Another note, can't run verify/repair disk permission, got error not package found. Anyone have this erorr? BTW my install method is install from LEO using UInstaller to fire up SL install.

    E7AUM-DS2H - Working well

Will try to disassem Signal64 posted DSTD v1 and make that update and post back result. A little update regarding >2GB RAM, I have tried 8GB RAM using onboard 9400 with Koalala Modded bios. System boots but KP when desktop is loading (can see the wallpaper) with error on GeForce drivers. This board is not good at all for >2GB RAM.

So you are experiencing CMOS reset as well? I try to fix the CMOS problem using DSDT Patcher but it came out with 1 error and 30+ warnings.
