  4. ALC898 not working in 10.9

Try installing the kext is "S/L/E" using KextWizard... I guess you have HDAEnabler installed too, like Riley said, "Your old one should still work assuming it's injecting the right Layout ID (Usually 1)".
  5. ALC898 not working in 10.9

If don't use DSDT, you must use HDAEnabler.. How do you install AppleHDA kext?

  7. Mavericks Realtek ALC AppleHDA Audio

Hi everyone, i patched AppleHDA 2.5.2, from Mavericks GM for Realtek ALC898 on a GA Z77X UP5 TH - Rev.01, following Toleda`s guide and patches. Internal speakers out are working. All kexts related to AppleHDA are loaded... i didn't test others outputs and inputs, but seems to be ok. I use Layout ID 1 via DSDT. Thanks Toleda for share you knowledge.
  8. Hi everyone, I'm trying to get this card working on 10.6.8 installation , the pci device id is 1002:7153, and it has the RV515GL controller. This controller is similar to RV515 used on Radeon X1300 and RV515 PRO used on Radeon x1300/x1550 series with the Device ID 7142 and 7146, which are supported on AtiRadeonX1000.kext. I tried overriding the device id to 7142 or 7146 via DSDT, but it didn´t work (black screen after booting, or very scrappy, i can see the mouse pointer only). Maybe someone can guide me to get this card working. Thanks in advance.
  9. HD4000 full acceleration for 10.8 / 10.7.5

That's a great progress, there are an others users experiencing the same problem. I think you'll not get two output monitors working at the same time.

You have to change your AAPL,platform-id to other that supports more ports.. I suggest to test with AAPL, platform ID 01660003, that have four ports. Remember to setup your BIOS settings for your integrated video peripheral to match the memory of the platform ID you are using.
  12. HD4000 full acceleration for 10.8 / 10.7.5

The Framebuffer @3 worked for my motherboard, may be for yours, you should try editing the frame buffers @1, @2 or even @0. You could check with IOREG which frame buffer use your laptop main screen.. and try editing the others one. Another thing, your EFI String, which platform ID is injecting? this framebuffers are for platform ID 01660003, others plataforms ID have different numbers of fframebuffers and configurations.
  13. HD4000 full acceleration for 10.8 / 10.7.5

There are three methos to enable HD 4000: 1. Install a modified bootloader wich supports HD 4000(injecting platform id), with GraphicsEnabler=Yes 2. Injecting device properties via EFI Strings(Your option) 3. via DSDT, Injecting Platform Id. All three methods are valid, depends on your needs or your platform or wherever you are looking for. If strings are working for you, its ok, if you want to enable minivga port, you will need to patch AppleFramebufferCapri.kext binary to re-route the signal to the minivga port, since Apple implementation of Intel HD 4000 does not support VGA.
  14. HD4000 full acceleration for 10.8 / 10.7.5

    I enabled VGA port on a GA-Z77X-UP5 TH editing AppleIntelFramebufferCapri binary to change the port. I use AAPL,ig-platform-id: 01660003, injected via DSDT. and edited AppleIntelFramebufferCapri binary at framebuffer @3 from this: @0, 05 03 00 00 02 00 00 00 30 00 00 00 // (LVDS) @1, 02 05 00 00 00 04 00 00 07 04 00 00 // (DisplayPort) @2, 03 04 00 00 00 04 00 00 81 00 00 00 // (DisplayPort) @3, 04 06 00 00 00 04 00 00 81 00 00 00 // (DisplayPort) - DETECTED 0x0 desktop to this: @0, 05 03 00 00 02 00 00 00 30 00 00 00 // (LVDS) @1, 02 05 00 00 00 04 00 00 07 04 00 00 // (DisplayPort) @2, 03 04 00 00 00 04 00 00 81 00 00 00 // (DisplayPort) @3, 06 02 00 00 02 00 00 00 30 00 00 00 // (DisplayPort) - Working VGA - Version 1 this worked too: @0, 05 03 00 00 02 00 00 00 30 00 00 00 // (LVDS) @1, 02 05 00 00 00 04 00 00 07 04 00 00 // (DisplayPort) @2, 03 04 00 00 00 04 00 00 81 00 00 00 // (DisplayPort) @3, 06 02 00 00 01 00 00 00 30 00 00 00 // (DisplayPort) - Working VGA - Version 2 Chameleon SVN 2.1 r2064, GraphicsEnabler=No and GraphicsMode to match monitor resolution, Mountain Lion always detected the HD 4000, but without QE/CI. Injecting platform Id get QE/CI enabled, and editing AppleIntelFramebufferCapri get video through VGA (i´ve only have a VGA monitor)
