    New Driver for Realtek RTL8111

I had a couple hiccups with Docker and upon investigation found that I was using 1.2.0 of the driver. I'm using Clover on 10.12 Deleted the old kext Deleted the network interface (en0) Rebooted Copied 2.2.1 to EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.12/ Rebooted The network interface was not recreated automatically kextstat|grep RTL 53 0 0xffffff7f82911000 0x5b000 0x5b000 com.insanelymac.RealtekRTL8111 (2.2.1) FC9510CF-80F7-3AF4-B1C3-8A425FBB8E2C <52 12 5 4 3 1>p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 11.0px Menlo; color: #000000; background-color: #ffffff} span.s1 {font-variant-ligatures: no-common-ligatures} grep RealtekRTL8111 /var/log/system.log (No output) I did go in to the network preference and add an "Ethernet" interface which did allow me to access the internet, but I'm concerned about Apple accounts, iMessage, etc What's the best next step to get en0 back?

    New Driver for Realtek RTL8111

Just wanted to pop in and say thanks. I stumbled on this driver while looking for a solution to constantly overloading the network interface, and am very happy with the results. Excellent work, Mieze.

    Mavericks AppleHDA HDMI Audio

I'm happy to report that HDMI audio now works on my computer. After understanding that there was an issue with using the EFI/Clover/kexts/Other folder, I was able to complete the setup with only the following changes: A patched DSDT realtekALC.kext config.plist That means no changes to any Apple files on the OSX partition, which feels like a big win! Thank you, toleda, for your staggering knowledge, willingness to help, and dedication to getting what you've learned to where people can see them. I have huge respect for what you've accomplished and for raising me to the next level. Thank you again to arsradu for posting openly in the other thread, and for being helpful when contacted. P.s. I've attached the files in case they help anyone in the future. Note, the DSDT is for the Gigabyte GA-B85M-HD3 with BIOS version F10 config.plist.zip dsdt.aml.zip

    Mavericks AppleHDA HDMI Audio

I was able to boot with realtekALC.kext installed by moving it from the "other" folder to the "10.9" folder. Thanks to arsradu for alluding to it in another thread. Here are the current files; I thought to include them all just in case they help. Also; can you elaborate on how the config.plist is broken? After your post, I took the measure of using Clover Configurator to generate one based on the working plist generated by Hackintosh Vietnam, and that generated plist is allowing the computer to boot in to a QE/CI enabled desktop. Mavericks AppleHDA HDMI Audio

I'm unclear about what's going wrong; the config.plist is allowing me to boot with graphics fully working (QE/CI). If I boot as is 3x in a row, I get the same result. If I make one change: putting the realtekALC.kext in the kexts folder, then it will not finish booting. (waited at least 90 seconds) Same results if I reboot 3x in a row. If I remove the file again, then the system will start up successfully. If there is a graphic problem, I'm seeing no evidence of it. What needs to be done (or known) in order to expose it? Would a damaged config.plist cause the system not to boot with realtekALC.kext installed? Attached is the currently installed AppleHDA.kext. AppleHDA.kext.zip

    Mavericks AppleHDA HDMI Audio

Just for clarification, the only time the system didn't boot was when 10.9/realtekALC.kext was in place. Otherwise, a fresh install works perfectly except for audio, and the current config works perfectly except for audio. Attached are the updated files as requested Note: I do not have a DSDT or SSDT installed Edit: Found what looks to be Clover's boot log (found in DCPIManager > Misc). Attached. config.plist.zip IOJones.zip boot log.txt.zip

    Mavericks AppleHDA HDMI Audio

Formatted the drive and started fresh. Went through audio_CloverHDMI, and the system did not boot. Attached is the plist I ended up with, as well as an image of where it got stuck. Edit: disabled realtekALC.kext by moving it out of the kexts folder and the system booted again. Still no audio. I've also attached the step-by-step log of me following the guide. If I missed anything, that will help identify. config.audio_CloverHDMI.plist.zip 2014-07-25 config.plist as per toleda - Walkthrough Log.txt.zip

    Mavericks AppleHDA HDMI Audio

Before I go forward, are you saying that if I only follow https://github.com/toleda/audio_CloverHDMI that the system will end up with working HDMI audio? Note: In the files I posted, all patching was done to the files themselves. Attached to this post is the config.plist that I've been tinkering with after reverting the files back to origional config.plist.zip

  10. Can anyone test high-res video? Even if it only does 720x x264 files, I would be very happy, and find a way to get one asap. If it does 1080p (Yes, no benefit without a larger monitor/projector on the vga port), all the better
