    iATKOS 10.5.4 DVD release

Hi All, This is to confirm that this release works perfectly on my laptop, I have Compaq Presario v6336, everything works perfectly hardware and software except wireless 3945 drivers doesn't work for this card and so far there is no solution for it except replacing the card. All software works perfectly after update iWork, iLife. This is the configuration I get: Model Name: Mac Pro Model Identifier: MacPro3,1 Processor Name: Intel® Core Duo CPU T2350 @ Processor Speed: 1.86 GHz Number Of Processors: 1 Total Number Of Cores: 2 CPU Features: FPU VME DE PSE TSC MSR PAE MCE CX8 APIC SEP MTRR PGE MCA CMOV PAT CLFSH DS ACPI MMX FXSR SSE SSE2 SS HTT TM SSE3 MON EST TM2 TPR PDCM Memory: 2 GB Bus Speed: 2.13 GHz Boot ROM Version: MB21.88Z.00A5.B07.0707251237 (Hewlett-Packard) Serial Number: ********** L2 Cache: 2 MB The red line looks strange, I don't think there is any computer yet with that bus speed. The rest of the configuration can be seen in my Signature. Cheers
  2. Hi, This may sound stupid question but I haven't found the answer on the forum. I have come across this with Kalyway10.5.2 and iATKOS v4 10.5.4, and after setting up energy saver settings I couldn't find the option for displaying warning when the battery power level drops to about %10 and %5 to put the computer to sleep or standby like the one we have on windows. Is leopard lack that feature or there is some place else to accomplish that. Hope to find the solution, and I thik others may have the same problem!! Cheers

    iATKOS V4 and Laptop Battery?

Discard this post, found the solution through another forum. Cheers
  4. Hi, I have installed iATKOS V4 on my hp Compaq Presario V6336 and all works fine except Wireless lan. But the problem is that I cannot get leopard to recognize my laptop batter, I can't see the battery icon on the top corner or in the system Energy Saver. I haven't had that problem with Kalyway 10.5.2 it just works fine from the time I install it. Is there is any sollution for that, I will be greatfull if anyone can help. Cheers

Why Do Mac Users Feel Piracy is Evil ? lol

HI, It's a nice topic started, though I think most of mac users who are worried about piracy are those who can afford to buy legate, not like most of us. I admit that am using %50 pirated software, but only those which I feel so expensive to buy, not to mention the high prices where I live. BELIEVE ME, and this is my opinion, and I don't know what do you think about that, IF no one uses pirated software whether it's application or OS, those software will not be so popular, no one will ever use it or buy it, and we will not got great products that we have right now ( Pirated or Legate ), although somehow the prices of MAC applications is slightly cheaper then Windows. I ONLY USE PIRATED SOFTWARE FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE NOT TO RUN BUSINESS :-) CHEERS

    Intel PRO/100 VE NIC

HI all, I am using Kalyway Leopard 10.5.2 on my Compaq Presario V6000 Laptop, I have updated the ID on the kext file and managed to install the Intel Pro/100VE using different method, using a tool provided with Kalyway, it's called Kext Helper P7, no ever mentioned d that before, it makes installation easier. Just drag and drop the kext file to install to the Kext Helper window, type in your root password in the password field, and just hit EASY INSTALL, and it will take care of the rest, just it will display a pop up message indicating that the installation was fine and to reboot. The weired thing is that I have tried all the other installation method mentioned to get the card up and running with no success, this one works for me, it may works for others. This post is send using Leopard on my laptop, so the card works fine. Cheers
