I have similar issue with my MB (z97, older than yours). I'm using a PCIe adapter in one PCIe3.0 slot and it's running ok. It should be PCIe3.0x4 as minimum for full speed

Thanks arsradu for your interest and help ¡¡¡ I'll check the thread. I'm sure I'll find some clues to solve the issue¡¡ Thanks Pavo and vit9696¡¡ I have checked your files and I can say this new files solve the translucency problem in Light mode and jpeg files quick look/preview and HDMI is enabled, but mp4 quick look/preview and QuickTime player (not working) issues are still present Yes, this is the problem that we ( Nightf4ll and myself) are looking for a solution. Once HDMI audio is enabled, it doesn't matter the method, Quicktime player and mp4 preview stops working. We have to remove the HDMI enablers to get it working again. The question is why enabling HDMI broke this and how we can enable HDMI/DP audio having quicktime player and mp4 quick look/preview working in Mojave (In HS is working fine for me...) Thank you everybody for your patience and interest¡¡¡

    [pre-release] macOS Mojave

I can not use WEG, as I do in HS, because with it appears the issue of translucency in Light mode ... I'm using Lilu + AppleALC + Shiki using -lilubetaall as boot argument. HDMI is not enabled with Lilu, so I'm using HDMIaudio.kext to do so getting audio in my DisplayPort output. I have to remove HDMIaudio.kext for mp4 and quicktime player working in Mojave. Could you please give me some guideline to enable HDMI through Clover config? you can see my hardware in signature, let me know if you need something else ... Thanks ¡¡

Thanks for answering, Nightf4ll!!! As you said, I have removed the HDMI audio enabler and quicktime and mp4 quick look preview starts working!!!! Obviously this is not the solution, but probably could help the Masters to find the right one, allowing activation of HDMI audio. Thanks again!!

Thank you arsradu!!! Just to mention that jpg preview is working in my hack since I applied this workaround some days ago in the following way: enable iGPU in bios + selected as secondary (primary for Radeon in pcie 1) + intelgraphicsfixup.kext in others folder (necessary to make it works) But this solution doesn't works for mp4 preview. Thanks for answering and opening dedicated tread!!!!
