  1. I installed from Kalyway 10.5.2 , then Kalyway 10.5.3 combo update, then straight from apple update for 10.5.4. Has anyone updated to 10.5.5 straight from apple after doing this type of install?
  2. I'm using the Gigabyte P35-Ds3l with huge success. Using the Kalyway 10.5.2 install method yields a completely usable build, out of the box. I had to use NVInstaller for my MSI 8600 GTS and all was working except shutdown/restart. I then used KalyWay 10.5.3 combo update and have since updated to 10.5.4 straight from Apple update. Rock solid and I have the Q6600 Core 2 Quad overclocked to 3.16Ghz. It's an excellent board for the hackintosh.
  3. Line6 Toneport solution with 10.5.2 Kalyway?

PCI USB card didn't help.. ahh well
  4. Line6 Toneport solution with 10.5.2 Kalyway?

Has anyone found a solution for this problem? I'm going to try a PCI USB card to see if it makes a difference... anyone? Bueller?
  5. 10.5.4 is released !

Updated straight from Apple Update from 10.53. Now running 10.5.4 with no issues
  6. TimeMachine fails backup

This worked for me, thanks! I originally did this with kext helper but it didn't work. Once I followed these instructions, time machine is working perfectly.
  7. Thank You Thank You Thank You!

Thanks for the tip mac_maestro. I bought parallels last night and am running XP on that for my work VPN stuff. It runs great. I honestly can't believe that I had never really touched a Mac before. Over the past few days I have been completely amazed with the stability, capabilities and deep application integration they offer. I look forward to more exploration but so far, I'm hooked.
  8. I just built my first OSX86 box and everything is working great. I've been a windows guy for as long as I can remember. Building this machine was easy thanks to the wealth of information found on these forums. Especially since I have no experience at all with Unix or MACs. I know this post will get lost in all of the requests for help but I wanted my first post here to say thanks to all for contributing to a great resource.
