  1. i have some questions, if you don't mind when have you done all the partitioning? have you boot it with hyrens boot or something similar? how come 'dindn't let windows 7 create its 100mb partition'? can you explain this a bit more? and what do you mean by 'then iATKOS 5i, then Chameleon 2.0'? isn't that like the same step? thanks
  2. there are some interesting posts here - http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=165878 hope it helps
  3. as far as i know (and i don't know much) you need to install easybcd on you windows 7. google easybcd and you should figure it out (it adds boot entries or something like that)
  4. yeah i installed chameleon 2 and yes, i have that error... will i be able to boot windows and iatkos with chameleon v2? just install new windows over the old one and install easybcd?

  6. Hello everybody, I need some help regarding dual booting... I have one hard disk, split into two partitions. On first partition I had my windows (vista x64) and the second was empty. I installed iAtkos v7 (which works perfectly) by selecting disk utility and formating second partition (I didn't do anything in my Windows - later, by following some dual boot guides, I found out that was a mistake). So, now my iAtkos v7 is working fine. If i press F8 just before it boots it prompts me with a 'dialog' where I can see: Windows iAtkos Windows Yes, there are two windows icons (or no icons, I forgot) BUT neither of them is working. That's not big problem because I wanted to install Windows 7 OVER that windows (vista) - I want to format the whole first partition and install Windows 7 BUT I REALLY, REALLY don't want to mess up my iAtkos. Can someone please give STEP BY STEP guide or point me to some guide that specifically explains THIS situation. Thanks
  7. iDeneb 10.5.5 and vista

ok, i realise that no one answered my questions, and the chanses are slim im gonna get answer for my newly created problem, but here it goes. i DID manage to fix dual boot i also did manage to fix my dvd by folowing this post form insanelymac (there is attached kext IOATAFamily.kext) after i done this i incountered a new problem. here is my post from that forum anyone? thanks
  8. Hi everybody Ok, so I installed Windows Vista, and after that I installed iDeneb 10.5.5 (on same hard disk, but on different partition of course). iDeneb works almost flawlessly (only problem is that my dvd rw is not showing in system profiler...its not recognized). When i insert dvd (not blank, it contains data on it) no icon appear on desktop - i cant use my dvds! That was problem #1 Problem #2 is that my Vista wont boot...i can get that boot prompt by pressing F8 before my OS X boots, but when i choose vista it says that OS is missing... How can i fix this? I would like to avoid reinstalling OS X (I can install Vista however, i didn't install almost anything on it yet), but it would be best if there is a faster solution
