Suggestions for a dedicated GC

I’m back on High Sierra now. I thought the issues were with Mojave, so I wiped and went back to HS (10.13.4).

Suggestions for a dedicated GC

First, my setup: Asus ROG Strix H370-I motherboard i5 8400 cpu 32gb 2133 ram 1tb Samsung EVO 860 ssd intel 630 graphics (integrated) im having graphical issues with the 630, so I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a good 1gb/2gb graphic card that is supported. My PSU is only 250watt so I can’t get a card that requires a lot of power. Also, I’m using a very small case, so the card can’t be too big either. Cost isn’t a problem. thanks in advance! -Sin

6. Ok, so someone (Gigamaxx) helped me get my unit up and running by doing the following:At the clover screen, going to Options, then Graphics and changing the Platform ID to 0x59120000 and making sure Inject Intel was checked. But i have to do this every single time to get it to work. Now my unit boots! YEEHAW!!But, still have some issues:1.) I put Clover Configurator on my desktop via a thumb drive so i can open up the config.plist and make sure settings are proper. However, i cant find the config.plist file! Where is it located? I thought it would have been in the EFI folder and THAT doesnt even exist! I will say there is a EFI Backup folder...2.) For some reason, i can only use 1 of my 3.1 usb ports! Whats up with that?? I have 2 3.1 ports, 3 3.0 ports and 2 2.0 ports. Am i missing something? Should i update my motherboards bios?If anyone can help me out, id greatly appreciate it!Im SOOOO close to having this running smoothly!!!-Sin

HP GeForce GT630 supported?

My roommate had a HP NVIDIA GeForce GT630 2Gb card laying around and I’m thinking about using it as it doesn’t require power from psu. does anyone know if this is supported in a hackintosh running Mojave? -Sin

Loss of display after install. Help!!

No card. Using onboard graphics. I think it’s actually coming from the i5 8400 cpu I’m using, technically. i tried a DP cable today instead of hdmi, but that didn’t help. Same result. Now I’m getting beep codes relating to my onboard graphics. Ugh... my roommate has a few video cards lying around not being used. I’m gonna see if those are supported in my build. -Sin
10. So after a gazillion tries with High Sierra, i gave up and decided to try Mojave. I had nothing to lose, afterall. I started from scratch. I reformatted my thumb drive. Made it bootable from the Mojave #####. Booted with it. Selected my language. It installed a little bit. Rebooted. I Booted from the SSD. Installed a bit more. Rebooted. I Booted from the SSD again and it finished the installation. I went through the basic setup and got to the desktop. I ran ##### and selected my options and "built" it. Thinking i was a-ok, i decided to reboot, just to make sure all was well. After about 1min, i lose display. I thought i had messed something up in #####, so i decided to go back to my mac mini, redo the thumb drive all over again. I go to boot from the thumb drive and when i get to the language selection screen, i lose all USB usage, so i cant even get in to wipe the SSD and start over. So, Mojave is still on the SSD, but i cant get to it because i lose display. Im attaching a screenshot of Verbose mode right before i lose display. I would greatly appreciate any help to get back into it or at least help getting it re-installed!! -Sin
11. First, my build: Asus ROG Strix H370-I mobo i5 8400 cpu 32gb ddr 4 2133 1tb samsung evo 860 ssd Ive finally gotten to the point where the installation of HS loads to the language selection screen, but then i lose all usage of every USB port. Im at a loss of what to do from here. According to others, i have the proper files in the kexts/other folder as well as the drivers64UEFI folder. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what i can do? Im getting kinda desperate as ive been at it for a week now and this is as far as ive gotten. -Sin
