    10.7.3. is OUT !

Looks like there is a known CUI bug! http://9to5mac.com/2012/02/02/heres-the-fix-for-intermittent-cui-errors-following-the-10-7-3-update/

    iAtkos L2 is OUT!

Should I upgrade? I used L1, and have successfully upgraded to 10.7.2 and everything is working great and stable. Would there be any advantage to re-do everything with L2?? Thanks!

    iAtkos L1 is Out

I, too, can report successful update to 10.7.2. I used chimera too. iCloud etc. work!
  4. FINALLY!! Tried Kakewalk and that sucked! It wood KP with the 10.7.2 update, combo or otherwise. So I did a fresh install of the iAtkos L1 with chimera bootloader, updated to 10.7.2 and iCloud and Facetime all work! Phew.
  5. I think I may try Kakewalk, I have the same board as you. Have you successfully upgraded to 10.7.2? with iCloud and App store working??
  6. I've tried just about everything, nothing works for me. I think I have to try a fresh re-install and start over. Too many boot replacements, plist edits, lan drivers, smbios edits, hex strings and etc... Still nothing. sigh

    ALC888 100% in Snow Leopard x64

Finally!! Building my 3rd hack for my sis and just needed sound to work. This did it! Same mobo: GA-EP45T-UD3LR
  8. Is the Snow Leopard Performance Update 1.0 safe to install? ANyone try it yet?
  9. Just wanted to report my system is solid for a week now. Shut down works much better now than Leopard, on my rig. It's so stable, I've gone back to overclocking it a bit at a time. Up to 3.4GHZ and Geekbench of 5256!
  10. Just used the 64-bit version of Geekbench and got a 4972! Sure seems zippy.
  11. Blackosx, quick question. If I overclock my processor, do I have to recompile the DSDT too? Or modify the smbios.plist with the new speed? (By the way, XBENCH scores are definitely lower with Snow, I wonder why?)
  12. I can confirm this. Same thing was happening to me. Bought a SATA DVD drive and install went smoothly!!
  13. I got working!!! Thanks BlackOSX for all your help. No KP in 64-bit mode yet!!! Boots in 15 - 20 seconds on my 10,000RPM velociraptor drive! Here are some notes I made for my rig to work: 1. I had to buy a SATA DVD drive for the bootcd to work. 2. I Bought a nVidia 8600 GT (to replace my ATI 2600XT) card on ebay for $35 to get OpenCL, etc. I used EFI studio. 3. I bought the retail DVD of Snow Leopard. (When I tried a torrent that I burned, it would fail to install on the HD. The retail worked flawlessly. I guess you get what you pay for, and it was only $29). 4. Fixing the CMOS bug was a pain. I t would keep changing back to 04 number for some reason. But now it works! No more CMOS issues. 5. Used VoodooHDA (Stell's Blog) to get the sound working. 6. Upgraded to 10.6.1, no issues. SCREENSHOT:
  14. Got the bootCD to boot!! Confirmed needed a SATA DVD drive. Boots perfectly. Now to install Snow! I will post screenshot if I succeed, wish me luck!
  15. Thanks for the effort! Will give it another go. Nope! Guess I'll have to get a SATA dvd drive after all. Thanks for the effort. :-(
