  1. QE/IC on Ati x200 and x200m work in progress

¡Por favor espero que éste no sea un chiste! He estado esperando casi dos años.......
  2. Analog devices SoundMax AD1981HD on HP notebooks

Hi, I can confirm that the Voodoo kext install described above now has the sound on my HP nx6310 100% working. Mic, headphones and speakers (no sound from speakers while using 'phones). Dual booting XP SP3 and iDeneb Leopard 10.5.8 both accessing the SATA drive. Very quick for a Intel Core Solo 1.8 with 2 GB RAM. In fact the whole laptop now "just works". I sold my Macbook Pro on eBay- superfluous now too damn fragile and it's warranty just expired....and I really hated having no eject button on the optical drive and that awful single button trackpad
  3. Best laptop for Osx86

HP Nx6310 goes great. Just about 100% working.
  4. Installed Leopard on HP Pavilion zv6000

I had dual boot running on my Zv6130US last year. I upgraded the CPU to Athlon 4000+ and 1.28GB RAM and got xbench of 76. It was all OK, the wireless worked fine - just edited the Broadcom plist with the vendor/version numbers 1002;4318 (I think). The sound was great. I think it was the HD audio . I didn't use the LAN. Only prob with the sound was if you used the volume buttons it "took off" to max. If I used the desktop icon it was fine. Only thing that was not right was that the Radeon Xpress 200 chip would not enable QE/CI, and as far as I know nobody has yet cracked that one. It would play video full screen OK with Quicktime Player. After installing Callisto 003fix I got screen resolution 1280x800. USBFIX1.3 fixed the USBs and the powermanagement package got the battery icon going. Good luck.
  5. Hi Suppo84, The missing DVD drive problem was solved for me (I have the same laptop as yours) by downloading and installing the modified AppleIntelPIIXATA.kext. Here's a link for one way to enable SATA HDD after XP is already installed. Worked like a charm for me. http://forums13.itrc.hp.com/service/forums...hreadId=1057792
  6. Worked great for me too! Thanks buddy.
