  1. I have 10.6.2 with 10.0.0 (new kernel would not boot, had to use the one from 10.6.0 install) Old SleepEnabler.kext gives restart screens New (netkas version) give KP on boot Will this one work with 10.0.0? Computer works without SleepEnabler, but doesn't fully go to sleep and needs to be restarted if I try to put it to sleep. I'm on p5w DH Deluxe. 10.5.8 slept perfect. Any suggestions?

    NForce SATA Controller

No, I have a jmicron sata/pata controller on my p5w dh. I believe that's what it's called. That made my drive fully function. I can get you more details if you need them

    NForce SATA Controller

I've fixed it by turning on SATA/PATA controller in the bios menu.
  4. SUCCESS: on p5w DH Deluxe I ended up going into BIOS and turning on JMicron SATA/PATA controlled - fixed the issue.

I'm dealing with the same device, could you please let me know if you figure something out. I think Bios might be an issue.

     - P5W DH Deluxe - [SUCCESS]

Hey guys, before I start working on this, is it worth it? Can you tell much difference between 10.6 and 10.5.8? Thanks, t
  7. You are trying to install it during the install, boot the actual system and use terminal in osx
  8. Chun-Nan, I have a Vaio VGN-TXN15p. I am trying to get OSX working. From what I understand, it is possible according to this post. I bought 3-4 other Mini PCI-E cards: Apple native card, DW1490, DW1390 etc. Here is the problem that I am having: Mini pci port is not recognized. Cannot use the en0-->en1 trick because networkinterfaces.plist the EN option is not even on the list, only FW. The light never powers on. I have tried almost every build possible, and it doesn't seem to work. The crazy part is - the desciption in the post makes it look easy. Could you please let me know what you think is going wrong here? I tried your KEXT with 10.5.2 and got a kernel error. Any tips? Thank you for your great work?

I had the same issue, and after a while (of silly tries) came up with a solution that worked for me: I have Vaio VGN-TXN15P and used Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD. All I did is: During the installation clicked on CUSTOMIZE and picked all KERNEL options and all GRAPHIC drivers. It worked perfectly from then on. Hope this helps.
