    OS X Lion 10.7.3 11D24 is OUT

How do I go about patching the new GeForceGLDriver to enable openCL? Oceanwave is giving me an opencl initialization error. Same with luxmark.

GM - Internal Drives Showing as External.

Cheers mate. Had the same issue. These kexts fixed it.

Where's is the User Library on Lion ?

Another useful trick When in Finder's Go Menu - hold down option key. Library will be there in the drop down list.

App Store Error: No GUID is available

I had the same error. I use a PCI Wireless card to access the internet and my motherboard has built-in ethernet of course. To get app store to work I had to add EFI strings for my wireless card into my boot.plist in the extras folder. The airport EFI strings process is described here http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=...d9&start=30 Combining EFI strings (display+airport for me) is described here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=114349 My wired ethernet still shows as en1 but since I don't connect to the internet with that, I don't think it matters. Tools used: gfxutil, efi studio and ioregistryexplorer

Kexts are being processed on every boot

This worked for me as well in speeding up my boot. I also added the -z flag.

    DSMOS has arrived

Also, if you are using Extra folder for Lion - make sure to install chameleon to the lion drive. I was also stuck in verbose if I had the extra folder but no chameleon installed on Lion (I was booting with chameleon on my SL drive)

    DSMOS has arrived

I have a 9800GTX+. Had the same issue. Then I changed the geforce kexts to the ones I found in the DP4 Install and all is back to normal with native support! I've uploaded the kexts I used. Link

    Recommended WIFI PCI card

This is the one I use. Linksys WMP54G. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16833124115 Works natively in 64 bit on SL and now Lion GM as well. Beware though, there seems to be a revision of this card that doesn't get detected natively. Not sure about that one. Mine has the device ID 4318 (vendor id is 14e4)

Supported Graphics cards with Full QE/QI

EVGA 9800GTX+ 512MB with Full QE/CI working in Lion GM without the need of any enabler or efi string injection. All I had to do was replace the Nvidia related kexts in the GM install with the ones that are in the DP4 Install (Geforce, NVDAResman, NVDANV50Hal kext version 7.0.94). If not, I'm stuck in verbose mode after boot sequence is complete.

    RaLink RT2500

http://www.ralinktech.com.tw/data/drivers/..._2008_12_04.dmg Isn't this the link for the RT2500 drivers? If so, it has drivers for 10.3, 10.4, and 10.5
  12. Ok, so I managed to isolate the problem. My internet connection speed is reduced as soon as a vista system joins the network. There seems to be some conflict over the wireless network between Leopard/Snow Leopard and Vista. Once the vista machine leaves the network, I'm back to full internet speed on Mac. I tried manually assigning LAN IPs on both machines but the problem still persists.
  13. I seem to have this problem in both Leopard and Snow Leopard. The same usb dongle gives me the full bandwidth (~ 3.60Mbps) in windows but on OS X, I can only get around 1.20Mbps. I've verified the speeds through various speed checkers online. Sometimes, I do see the true speed but that's usually for a little while after the usb drivers are initialized. Thereafter, it defaults to the throttled speed. I can't for the life of me figure out what causes this. I've messed around with all the advanced settings in the Ralink wireless utility to no avail.

Haven't tried ntfs-3g but I have installed Paragon NTFS 7.0.2 However, it will only mount for me in 32 bit mode.
  15. I have this small yet annoying problem. Whenever I try to replace a file, Finder gets stuck at the "Preparing to Copy" phase. It doesn't matter if the file is 1kb or 1gb. So now, I have to first delete the file I'm replacing and then move the new file in. Simply copying over the old file doesn't work for me and the only way to get out of it is to force quit finder. Has this happened to anyone else?
