  1. Launchpad-Control

I need to boot into 32 bit mode for my graphics to work (GMA 950) so this means this app will not work for me?
  2. Launchpad-Control

Excatly what happens with me, except now i have about five duplicates that are unchecked and new ones that are
  3. Launchpad-Control

When i reboot all the apps i removed come back
  4. Intel 82562V LAN

I need to get my inbuilt LAN working so that the APP store and time machine work correctly. In Snow Leopard I simply used my Wireless USB as en0 and it worked, but not so with Lion. I am trying to get the inbuilt ethernet to be detected. I have a Asus P5LP-LE (Leonite) motherboard with a Intel 82562v Lan. My device ID is: 0x27dc8086 I have tried to add EFI strings to boot.plist and I have also used AppleIntel8255x.kext and added my device ID into the info.plist as I have found others saying this worked. I had it working (after a lot of effort) but it seems to have stopped. I must have changed something and now can't get it back
  5. App Store Error: No GUID is available

I got it to work. Here is what you do: 1) Use EFIstudio 2) Select Ethernet 3) Select Add device 4) Copy the bit at the top to your boot.plist folder in /extra worked for me!
  6. App Store Error: No GUID is available

Hmmm so what is the problem? I am running build 11A511. Is that what others who have it working are using? - My network card is En0 and shows up in network preferences - I have deleted the network interfaces plist and restarted - Ethernet built in is set in the boot strings - pciroot is set to 1 (0 means my network card not detected) Still no workie.
  7. App Store Error: No GUID is available

Ok I did a lot of work and got my ethernet working, but still getting the same error in the app store. Is everyone getting this error right now? Did apple do something server side since Lion is launching tomorrow or is it a problem with my setup with Lion?
  8. App Store Error: No GUID is available

Is there a way to get this working without Lion detecting your network card? In Snow Leopard and Leopard it always picked up my wireless USB as en0. I could never get my ethernet card to be picked up, but I don't care as I use wireless anyway. Without this App store and time machine both do not work, which means I might stick with snow leopard.
  9. I have tried this. It all seems to go okay until I just get a black screen with a white cursor (full rectangle rather than normal single line) and a blank screen. Nothing happens. This is when booting off the installer. It goes through Chameleon, selects boot device, then appears to be booting and right when you would expect the installer GUI for Lion to kick in you get this. Any ideas?
  10. Got it working i belive. Thanks. Seems to be the Natit.kext that breaks this. Removed and now working.
  11. It looks like this is working as the resolution seems much higher, however only one huge problem!!! It boots thinking I have two monitors and I only have one! The trouble is, it thinks the monitor i have is the secondary display, so all i get is a second desktop and can't do anything!! Bummer.
  12. iATKOS S3 is released!

I've tried to install this and I get a kernal panic the moment it starts to copy files, infact i can still boot into the Leopard install i am trying to install over. Also tried this on a new hard drive. Getting a double panic error. "Panic: Trying to interlock destoyed Mutex Backtrace (cpu1) (4 potential args on stack) (double panic)"
  13. Trying to get this to work with an ASUS P5LP-LE Device ID for the graphics is 0x2772. In system profiler I get: Resolution: 1024 x 768 Depth: 32-Bit Color Core Image: Hardware Accelerated Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Supported QuartzGL: Supported Which is awesome, seems to be better than anything it has said before with the zillons of patches and everything else I have tried, just one big problem, can't change the resolution like it couldn't before, all the other patches and solutions I have found, seem to give me that, but nothing else, no Core image, no QuartzGL and things like iphoto don't work. Help?
  14. I stupidly knocked my 9 year old CRT monitor and it fell off my desk and broke. So today I upgraded to a shiney HD 22" TFT and I am LOVING it. The problem i've had in Leopard is i was only ever able to select one screen resolution, this was quite low for my new monitor and looked awful, so i installed something off these forums to make the GMA950 compatible, i forget what it was and can't find it now, but it worked like a charm.. At least i thought... Quakelive crashes and VLC doesn't play video, all i get is a black screen, for some research on this issue it appears both use OpenGL and this might be the cause. Any suggestions?
