  1. I'm not sure whats going on here but I have Kalyway 10.5.2 on my Aspire One and for some reason my USB ports will not recognize anything.

I know the ports work fine because I'm able to boot from them. But now I'm stuck since all of the proper updates are on my flash drive and I can't access it.

    Any ideas?

EDIT: I figured out that if I put the flash drive in then reboot it will work after the reboot. So my issue is sort of resolved, but still does anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

  2. Well as the topic says, I've recently installed Kalyway 10.5.2 and for some reason my wireless card is showing up and working. It's a Linksys WMP54G or GS ( I can't remember for sure and I don't feel like taking the card out to check, lol. ) PCI card. I am able to connect to the internet, but the connection is painfully slow and most of the time the connection times out. It is so slow that I wasn't even able to post this from OSX, I had to boot back into Vista.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? It seems the hard part is over, since the card is actually working I just need to speed it up.

So far I've tried the Delayed Ack Hack and it didn't help so I'm sort of lost past that. And since I'm new to this if anyone has a suggestion could you give very clear details on how to fix it so you don't confuse me? That would be awesome...haha

Any help would be greatly appricated. Thanks in advance...
