  1. Thank you very much for your cooperation. The solution turned out to be really simple. I had to format SSD to HFS+ GUID on another machine after that installer's disk utility was able to recognize my SSD.
  2. @artur_pt, No luck, unfortunately. SSD drive didn't appear in disk utility GUI.
  3. Thank you, I will try that. Just wanted to add that my SSD drive appears in a diskutil list output in the installer.
  4. Hello friends, High Sierra installer doesn't recognize any SATA SSD drives on my machine. Both SSD drives show up in BIOS and Clover. I can even do a boot from Clover when I select an SSD drive (but I need to do a fresh install, that's why I ask this question). How do I make High Sierra recognize SSD? I am running necro setup ASUS P5K-PRO (775 socket) with XEON E5450 on board. Latest BIOS is 1303 with 771 socket microcodes and AHCI support added. AHCI enabled for both SATA drives. I am using FakeSMC, NullCPUPowerManagement kexts. Command line argument I need to boot to installer is ncpi=0x2000 One drive is brand new, the other one works fine on another machine.
