  1. Gigabyte Z170M-D3H 6700K Build & PM

When you run a program like yes > /dev/null, it is normal that your CPU is running on its highest freq. It is normal, because we always want that our programs run fast. Right? Check your cpu's freq. with HWMonitor, when you do not run any program what creates heavy load.

The SPD chip is not in all situations set to the page 0, so before the fist SPD data read, I set it to the page 0. If a bit more people give me response, I will make a merge request to the clover repo.
  3. El Capitan on GA-Z170X-Gaming 5

I fixed it, and I uploaded a modified version. Plz response for me, if it works for you too. Thx.

Hi guys, Here it is my latest Clover build, with fully DDR4 recognition: http://oandras.hu/downloads/KPDt You can read about the changes: http://oandras.hu/clover-ver3389-with-corrected-ddr4-detection/
  5. Good news. My HD7000 seems to be working with the new driver. (I only tested the HDMI out yet) Animations, rotation, and no more confusion around the mouse pointer.

Frequency detection is not supported yet, I think it is just a cosmetic thing. I just patched the size detection, which is essential to the system. http://d-h.st/3ghw I think, it will work. @giacomoleopardo No, I'm using the latest stock "Z170XGaming3.f5d": http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/309352-el-capitan-on-ga-z170x-gaming-5/?p=2188103 About USB: I'm using the FakePCIID.kext and the FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext. My ports are working, but I can't test them with USB3 device. @hashish.k I see that you have a different motherboard (Z170X-UD5). You should patch your DSDT too, and do not use my DSDT to your sys, because it can cause hangs and craches.

If anyone has an issue with the DDR4 RAM size detection, here it is my patched Clover build: http://d-h.st/4p3C

Hi, Download this app, to get your model number: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/download-maccpuid and run this command in the terminal to get your family id: sysctl hw.cpufamily After these steps, report the infos for me, and I will can compile a working kext for you.
  9. El Capitan on GA-Z170X-Gaming 5

I can boot up with both enabled Radeon 5850 and integated Intel 7000 chip, but I didn't find a correct framebuffer data yet. My display get signal from the intel chip, but the rotation not works and I get other bugs.
  10. El Capitan on GA-Z170X-Gaming 5

Maybe the intel graphics driver. Try to delete the related kexts. Do you see any backtrace, before your pc restarts?
  11. El Capitan on GA-Z170X-Gaming 5

https://github.com/majonez I added initial Broadwell support too. http://d-h.st/UDQ9
  12. El Capitan on GA-Z170X-Gaming 5

This is my own CPUSensors build with skylake support: http://d-h.st/NyO1
  13. El Capitan on GA-Z170X-Gaming 5

It requires a decryption key. If you can install the sys from the vm, do that, but you can boot up from the key on your machine directly too. You must check my graphics settings in the plist. @cyberdevs You must replace my DSDT with yours.
