  1. I'm desperately trying to fix this issue : I've a GA-EP35-DS3P, I have a DSDT generated with autopatcher. Everything is working fine except App Store. I've this for LAN0 Device (LAN0) { Name (_ADR, Zero) Name (_PRW, Package (0x02) { 0x0B, 0x04 }) Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) { Store (Package (0x04) { "built-in", Buffer (One) { 0x01 }, "location", Buffer (0x02) { "1" } }, Local0) DTGP (Arg0, Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) } } } Any idea ? In NetworkInterfaces.plist, i get : <dict> <key>Active</key> <true/> <key>BSD Name</key> <string>en0</string> <key>IOBuiltin</key> <false/> <key>IOInterfaceType</key> <integer>6</integer> <key>IOInterfaceUnit</key> <integer>0</integer> <key>IOMACAddress</key> <data> AB19Aert </data> <key>IOPathMatch</key> <string>IOService:/AppleACPIPlatformExpert/PCI0@0/AppleACPIPCI/PEX5@1C,5/IOPCI2PCIBridge/ethernet@0/com_lnx2mac_RealtekRTL81xx/IOEthernetInterface</string> <key>SCNetworkInterfaceInfo</key> <dict> <key>UserDefinedName</key> <string>Ethernet Adaptor (en0)</string> </dict> <key>SCNetworkInterfaceType</key> <string>Ethernet</string> </dict> So, as I get : <key>IOBuiltin</key> <false/> I understand my lag interface is not seen as built-in. As Lion doesn't recognize Realtek 8169 anymore, I use lnx2mac driver, latest version. I you've any idea, I will be pleased to try ;-)
  2. Just to report success on a GA-EP35-DS3P using DSDT and LegacyHDA.kext in /Extra on 10.5.8. To avoid audio pop, I use MacPro3,1 in SMBIOS. Thanks for your great job
  3. I've upgraded to EFI9 / Chameleon EFI 1.0.12 + LS8v15 (without realtek driver). Everything is working fine for me ... even if I didn't try the front panel audio out.
  4. Have you also the problem with the sound like me on your DS4 mobo ?
  5. I had the same problem before, with ls8v12 on 10.5.5, so I decided to use ls8v14 with "atest AppleHDA patched with Taruga HDA patcher 1.20 and HDAEnabler" after I migrate to 10.5.6. I know have the various input / output available in the sound preferences. I didn't try the mic, but the headphone outputs, it works. Did you select the input mic as incoming audio in your preferences ? But I know have an issue with the sound, after a period of silence, I've a sort of pop before a new sound plays . Does someone succeed to fix this issue ?
  6. I just did 10.5.6 update. I boot from a second partition, use combo 10.5.6, then apply postpatch from LS8v14 with the following option : - latest AppleHDA patched with Taruga HDA patcher 1.20 and HDAEnabler - AppleSMBIOS-28 - no ethernet driver - no JMicronATA and IOATAFamily driver - no IONetworkingFamily - TimeMachine fix, I use EFI string Everythings seems OK , so I confirm no need for DSDT or upgrade to pc_efi v9.
  7. I did 10.5.5 combo from another drive, then v12 post-patch, then reboot to the updated partition. Works fine :-) Later, I also upgrade from pc_efi to chameleon, works fine too :-) 10.5.5 seems faster to me.
  8. stabilité d'un hackintosh ?

Ultra stable, jamais aucun plantage sur une GA-EP35-DS3P avec un Q6600 plus une 8800GT. Il faut juste savoir faire les modifs qui vont bien, efi, ...
  9. It will depend of the update. A lot of upadate can be done through Apple Software Update. For others, like system upgrade, you need to do it by hand.
  10. I have a GA-EP35-DS3P, Q6600 3 SATA drive, everything is ok with this method.
  11. EFI Studio marche très bien. Sinon, il faut une version pacthée de NVInject pour 10.5.3, disponible dans NVInstaller .51 et .52 : NVInstaller .52
  12. USB/FW ports not functional

I had the same problems on a GA-EP35-DS3P, I switch to a retail install and it know works perfectly I saw spmewhere in the forum that the default fix PCGENUSB or something like that causes a lot of problems with usb ...
  13. Shutdown/Poweroff Fix

I've exactly the same problem with a GA-EP35-DS3P and Q6600 with a retail install. Did you find the solution ?
